I stop in here everytime I pass through NY Penn station. Staff has always been awesome! Food is great! Breakfast sandwiches are a hell of a bargain!
Good selection of flavored hummus - jalapeño & basil are both good. Avoid the baked fries as they don't travel well (read they are soggy potatoes ).
The chai tea with cream is the best at Chickpea. Great food, friendly service .
Pocket , Red Pepper Humus , Chicken Sharma, Corn , Cucumber/Tomato, Tzatziki all over that!
The breakfast croissant is excellent. Better than the other station eateries .
Surprisingly good hummus . Got the packaged red pepper kind and ate it with the three olive multigrain chips .
Definitely get the "chickplant" (egg + eggplant )! (If you go elsewhere, it's called sabich.)
