Make sure you order online in advance, skip the line at the door and head to the pickup area in the back. Sit outside and people watch . Great food!
The menu is a mix of great takes on classic diner food , like a perfect open-faced tuna melt on sourdough rounds made with fresh ahi tuna , and California favorites, like fish tacos (excellent!). Read more
The Ahi Poke Tacos are excellent! The burgers are delicious(I am always looking for a GOOD burger ) the only problem, I wish the buns were just a little more toasty , might go with the burger better!!
Everything here has been delicious! Favorite burger - green chile burger (probably my favorite in SF), but don’t overlook their specials! The chicken parm sandwich (only in February) is perfection!
Pricey (but that's S.F. these days) yet they make a mean burger . I usually pass up the various specialty burger options and just get the standard cheese with no complaints.
Killer cheeseburger , ahi sandwiches , and salads . Indulge a little or a lot. Hard to beat the quality of ingredients and the location by the Bay .
Ice cream-wise, they probably make some of the best soft serve in the bay area. No it doesn't come close to Twirl & Dip (RIP), but Gott's does a solid, old fashioned & full of flavor vanilla softy.
Great burgers ! There are places in the ferry building (past the bathrooms ) to sit if there are no tables left.
Very tasty burger , sweet potato fries and cookies and cream shake but $25! Beware of queues out of the building during lunch too. Worth a visit.
Keep it classic with a cheeseburger . My favorite burger in the city so far. Better than Super Duper! For gluten-free/low-carb, they do a respectable lettuce-wrap.
One of the best burgers in all of the land. Also the crispy Ahi Poke tacos are phenomenal.
Ahi tuna burger . Amazing!!! Awesome!!! Mind blowing!!! Unforgettable!!!! Must have!!! If I am ever again in San Francisco, I am coming here from the plane ))) thank u
Try ordering by it's website, line is always full, but is worth the burger . Garlic fries are delicious. The Blue cheese burger is too strong, in my opinion
This was a very good burger and a very tasty shake . I am still leaning slightly towards Pearl 's as the best burger I have eaten in San Francisco. But it is close. The service at Pearl 's was also a
If you're into burgers with unusual toppings like blue cheese , it's great. If you want just a plain hamburger , it's just ok. Garlic fries were wonderful and they have some great local beers on tap .
Best garlic fries around. I'm not a fan of the "chopped raw garlic " approach most take, but Gott's uses a homemade garlic butter instead and it's awesome.
The garlic fries aren't messin' around — it's a serious wallop of flavor. And, the burgers are juicy and savory.
Get the salmon burger if your not in the mood for a beef burger . It is delicious.
The ahi tuna burger is ridiciculous...the bun , the flesh, the slaw , and the sauce -- I've once returned for a second serving to curb my craving. Best ahi burger you'll have, hands down. Eve.r
Don't worry about long lines do worry about finding a seat. Brave the cold and sit out front. Warning: default temp is medium well ! Ask for what you want.
The sweet potato fries are much better than the garlic fries . If you don't believe me, you can order them half and half .
Pro-tip: skip the bigger line if you just want to order a drink — you can order drinks and shakes at the bar on the far end. ???? ????
Ahi tuna burger is always great, and the vanilla bean milkshake is wonderfully flavorful with real vanilla beans . Great lunch spot on a sunny day.
Pro tip: they let you mix milkshake flavors. I recommend chocolate and espresso bean
I had something called a Southwest Sandwich . It had chicken and eggs on it. I'm not sure which came first. (But it was good. And very cheesey.)
Awesome place to people watch with perhaps the best milkshake I've ever had (Black and white with oreos added).
Love Gott's? Head up to St. Helena and experience the original Gott's (Formally called Taylors Refresher). Why not it make it an overnight trip and explore some of the famous Napa Valley wineries .
The Ahi Tuna Burger is amazing. Also, if the line is long call in your order "To-Go" and find a seat. It's much faster than waiting in line . #protip
i've tried the double cheeseburger , the wisconsin burger , and the texas burger . i enjoyed them all. shakes are great too. plus, ciao bella is nearby for gelato dessert .
Blueberry milkshakes are a must have! Be careful because you'll be craving another as soon as you've finished. It's usually busy (and cost 5.99) but you won't care it's so good.
Must get the sweet potato fries . They dust it with chili powder to make it extra orgasmic. And the garlic fries !
Western burger is a must try here... It was an awesome experience and the price is OK.
Excellent food. Great tasting veggie patty to sub into any burger .
Forget Shake Shack in NY, these burgers and shakes are worth coming to SF for. Delicious, great meat and cool space.
Ahi Tuna burger FTW. Weighs a ton but somehow feels light and fresh. It's like eating an amazing giant burger of sashimi .
At the ferry building -- hard to beat a cold beer and a well made sandwich / burger on a warm weekend afternoon.
Literally the best burger I've ever had. The blue cheese burger , add bacon and avocado and enjoy
Sit at the bar !! Especially if Jeremy is working!! If you're curious about anything on the menu he is the one to talk to!!! =)
Decent burger , shakes are great they just have an issue with getting them both out together. Was there last week and I was almost done with my burger when the shake finally came out.
The hamburger meat honestly tasted like an elevated school cafeteria burger...dense and barely warm. The chili cheese fries lacked flavor. If you’re hungry, it’ll be fine, but I wouldn’t wait in line .
Good, no frills classic burger . Fries are great too. Don't get the grilled cheese .
Impossible burger is fantastic definitely worth a try even if you’re not a vegetarian .
Lunch line is always long so come early to beat the rush. Burgers are tender and juicy, but a bit pricey .
The impossible burger is amazing and they also have gluten free options .
Amazing burgers great food. Can't go wrong if you are spending a day at the peir
???? the root beer float . 3/4 root beer in a cup, soft serve poured directly on top
Grab the last table outside for the best view .
The tuna burger is tasty, but the chicken fingers and fries (and homemade ranch ) steal the show!
Kimchee burger , salads , everything is conpostable.
The crispy chicken teriyaki sandwich is outstanding!

The burger is great - unique bun and toppings - but always check the daily specials. Weekend corn beef hash special is yum. - Chris Newhouse
Best hamburger ever... Really.. I tried the french and fries with a chocolate milkshake and it was excellent. - Mauricio Torres
Awesome (if a little pricy) market inside, and ferry rides out the back. Worth going on Saturday for the farmer's market. - Dana
Brilliant and different flavour. My favourite is Secret breakfast ice cream - bourbon and cornflake inspired! Need I say more! - Jessica Wickham
Great space, lots of interesting nature and science experiments, widgets, maps, etc; nice view of the bay - Farshid Ketabchi
