As mentioned, this place is above a pub , so if you're in the mood for daily rotating cask ales , craft taps, and 30+ bottles, then you're in luck. Read more

Fox & Anchor, where pints pour bold,In Clerkenwell, tales unfold.Oak beams, cozy nooks, a hearty cheer,History and ale , ever near.Fine fare, laughs, and ale so neat. ????

Danny

They have 6 hotel rooms upstairs which are amazing! Stylish , modern, clean and affordable ! Friendly staff to boot. Definitely will return here next time!

Luke di Rago

Have a beer tasting and take a pint of your favorite. They have a good selection of pale ales , Junction was my favorite.

Tom Halleran

High-end pub with fantastic (and filling) Full English Breakfast . Wash it down with a pint, and you're set for the day.

Time Out London

Outstanding British food, interesting real ales and a sympathetic restoration make this Smithfield stalwart a real treasure; pints in pewter tankards add to the cordiality. Read more

Lovely atmosphere and good food! My go to pub when I’m in London!

Paul Wright

Nice place, tucked away down a lane. Beer was great, although the barman was going to tip an old half into a full pint (!!) at one stage.

Justin

Delicious food, the restaurant area itself is an intimate little warren of cozy rooms and booths

Little Scrapes

Safe tourist venue, but there's lots more on the doorstep for the more adventurous. Polpo, Vinoteca, Ask for Janice, Hand and Shears...

Malu Nickel

Pork belly roasted is beautiful. Ambiance is great.

Angela Maguire

A traditional pub near the conference venue. Serves food Monday to Friday and closes at 11pm.

Jake Archibald

Small inside, but little quiet secluded areas to sit in. Meantime on tap .

Phil Kench

Great interior and cosy tables at the back

Damien Bénazet

Take the suite "The Market " really worth it. Just for the large bathtub

Leeky

Both the Scotch Egg (with lovely runny middle!) and Ham Hock come highly recommended!

Tony

Get there early! It's now 8.15pm and a lot of the menu is no longer available

We Heart

Absolutely everything a good old fashioned boozer should be! Love the old beer taps as toilet flush too, nice touch...

Luca Grulla

Definitively one of the best burgers in London.

Andrew Green

A nice pub with decent beer selection but the food is very poor value. It's tasty but portion sizes are way too small for what they are charging.

Iain Macleod

Try the 1613 IPA . It's really really good!

Martin B

Get the Dizzy Blonde beer and the awesome fish and chips !

Laura L

Good selection of gins .

Andrew Green

Nice pub with decent beer selection but the food is poor value. Tasty, but portions are way too small for what they are charging.

stoptrafficclothing

great British fare - roast beef , oysters and fish & chips !

Dertie Bixon

Avoid this place. It's a confused mix of gastro pub and a bar ; it struggles to do either well . Patchy surly service.

Kobe Watkins

The pork pies here are great!! As is the Steak & Ale pie (with a surprise in the middle)!

K

Cozy but a bit expensive !

Oleksiy Limansky

Nobody cares about giving the menu. Should have taken it by ourselves. No T-bone though it is in the menu. Went away hungry with no food.

David Roberts

Was told the burger here was the best in London. It's not, it's nice though.

Gina Decio

Local brewed ale served in tankards. My favourite pub in London, and I have searched hard!

one64

Early morning beers from 7am!! (8.30am at the weekends...)

Try the Scotch Eggs

Fenris Oswin

No idea what is good as half the menu was already gone by 7.30pm

Keith Greywood

Last time I went, there were no pewter tankards . A shame.

Tim Lloyd

Great food - recommend the fish and chips , or the pork pies .

Nick Summerson

Pie of the day. Enough said.

Evan Raskob

The burger is amazing, but don't pass up the traditional faire like pigs ' ears!

r4vi

Scotch Egg is amaze

Denis

Live jazz on Sundays. 2 to 6. Perfect.

Nick Turner

It's a fantastic pub , doing an interview, but isn't vegetarian friendly ;-)

Kim Mackender

Goose fat chips are believable!

Hannah Jarvis

No babies allowed

Matthew Gidley

A pub with nowhere to sit or stand if you just fancy a drink. Gastropub . Meh. Awful place. Looked so promising too.

Dave Martin

In this place last night - good times!

Patrick Woodman

Mixed nuts were burnt, oversalted and overpriced. Urgh.

Andrey Savelyev

The food as shitty as my whole life.
