I had a great time here. Very educational and creepy. Just the way I like it. Lots of great exhibits . Homemade house atmosphere.
Lots of serial killer artwork and letters. Entire room of just Charles Manson and Black Dahlia. Actual bunk bed from the Heaven's Gate mass suicide . A must-go for the morbidly inclined. Free parking !
If you think watching The Walking Dead has desensitized you from wincing at macabre, think again: Watch a how-to video on embalming, or hang out at a mass suicide site replica and Cannibalism Niche.
Much more than just a horror display. This place recreates real life depictions of some of the most depraved events in history while also reminding us to appreciate the life we have.
If you're into serial killers , they've got something for you. Taxidermy ? Also. Cults? Yep. Mortuary studies? Check. Pretty graphic so it's not for the faint of heart.
No pictures allowed inside but very educational for those interested in the history of death, taxidermy , & murder. Photographs are graphic in some rooms but good signage for the squeamish .
Fascinating. Would pay to get in and see it again, didn’t quite have enough time to absorb everything.
A little off the beaten track but well worth the walk. Not for the faint of heart.
Really interesting to look at! Loved it so much I went twice!!
pretty awesome, helter skelter. it's a bit small, but very interesting...they have a video that's like a one two step guide for imbalming bodies, pretty sick. i loved it.
Maybe the most metal museum in the U.S. their website boasts that they have the largest collection of Serial Murderer Artwork, Photos of the Charles Manson Crime Scenes and more!
A bit too gory for my liking, almost glorifying blood and guts and gore.
This place is awesome if you like gore and death. If you get queasy from stuff like this... DO NOT COME HERE. It is upchuck material central.
Go here & check out the amazing, not for the squeamish , collection of all things mortuary science, serial killers , & tyrannical rulers. Fascinating! Read letters from serial killers ? Weird fun!
You can spend hours in here ! It's fantastic.
Voice-overs in the traces of death theater made us chuckle a bit =P Very cool museum . Check it out if you're in town !
????????????love it
Fascinating, but not for the squeamish . No subject too taboo, no photographs too brutal.
Uber friendly staff . Ask to see the two headed turtle .
w00t! They are opening up a museum in New Orleans!
Awesome... Something different. A must if your in Hollywood.
very interesting.
Definitely worth seeing. But not if you're squeamish .
pretty brutal and really interesting!
