Beats Chomp Chomp anytime... Except late nights of course. Favs: Kway chap , pig organ soup , beef noodles , Italian. Also good value are teppanyaki , hor fun and... I could go on forever.

Good old school cakes & buns from Serangoon Garden Bakery & Confectionary 01-54/55. Their butter cake was memorable, light & fragrant
Did u know? When completed in 1956, Serangoon Gardens estate provided accommodation for the English-speaking middle-class civil servants of Singapore. Source: roots.sg blog
Fried wantans from Serangoon Garden Carrot Cake & Wanton Noodle #01-13 are light & tasty. Can't say the same abt their overall wantan mee :-(
Chicken wings here are delicious! Brought a couple of foreign friends here and they loved how the sugar cane could be bought in 2 or 3 litre towers.
The vegetarian Prawn noodle at Delicious Vegetarian stall is fantastic, must try. Next tue to sun they will be selling Penang Assam Laksa with was requested by customer. 5pm - 9pm mon close
Traditional kway Teow soup noodles from Hao Hoe stall . Still serves orange fish cake . Eaten fr stall for more than 20 years. Next to d delicious vegetarian Bee hoon stall (best in Singapore !)
For a few weeks I thought the teppanyaki stall had close down. So glad it's still around! Comfort food . They should change the signboard though.
Braised duck rice . The duck meat from Ah Seng Braised Duck Rice #01-44 was aromatic & very well cooked. Pairs well with their chilli sauce . Rice was rather dry
Prefer the variety of local snacks / finger food here than opposite, eg. Satay , Gado Gado , Tahu Goreng , Popiah , Rojak . Fong Kee Dumpling (Jiao Zi / Guo Tie), Chwee Kueh, Cai Tao Kway , Hao Jian, etc...
No free parking on Sundays & public hols ????. 75-cents per 30-min block for cars, 7am-2pm. 60-cents thereafter
Fishball noodles . 鱼圆麺肉脞麺 #01-01 serves 6 fishballs for $3.50. High water content, hardly tasted fish . Skip the lard oil which smelled rancid, which a staff admittedly shared comes from central kitchen
Vegetarian options : specialty vegetarian , chwee kueh, fried carrot cake , local desserts & snacks , yam cake , soon kueh, lontong, beancurd
Good eats here include Kway chap , porridge , freshly baked buns (ham & cheese bread is the best), vegetarian bee Hoon , traditional old school fishball Kway teow soup !
Love the kway chap from Garden street (stall 21); the intestines, lor bak & pig 's skin are very nice!
Laksa with dou miao & monkey head mushroom from Henry Wang stall @Delicious Vegetarian in Serangoon garden Market & Food centre taste great.???????????? 5.00pm - 9.00pm
Hao hoe Siang kway Teow soup has been here 4 decades. While it may not be d best - I frequent it for nostalgia n childhood memories !
For fried carrot cake , Hock Kee Fried Oyster taste better. Add extra egg to bring out the fried egg fragrant.

More pleasant & spacious with strong pillar fans than the famous Chomp Chomp Food Centre opposite.
Had lor mee from delicious vegetarian stall , $3 for a generous serving . Nice and didn't feel like it had too much msg in the sauce :)
Good dry wantan noodles . Springy enough but best to be eaten fresh, instead of take away .
Fried oyster omelette . Despite several awards lining the stall , Hock Kee (stall 19) does not serve up exceptional oyster omelette :-( I wonder if it's still d same cook that garnered those awards?
Duck is good!! so is the pigs organ soup .. The dim sum is not bad!! And the buns are classic..pk fish and chips are cheap and good.. But sometimes inconsistent.
Chuan Heng's bak chor mee is a hidden gem , $4 portion rocks!
Come just before dinner time otherwise you could wait up to an hour for a seat. Waiting time for food is usually about 15-20 mins though chicken wings and desserts are almost instant.
Bak chor mee : Seng Kee (stall 4) doesn't taste like ur typical BCM. His sauce has a strong fragrance /flavour, probably due to d mushrooms he uses. I read his fish maw noodle is tastier. Will try nxt
Fish maw soup at Seng Kee mushroom minced meat noodles #01-04 has loads of fresh pork (minced & slices), seaweeds and big pieces of fish maw.
Soon Huat Pig 's Organ Soup ! Must try else regret!
Fried rice from Stall 43 (Asian Wok) is delicious, full of wok hei!
New fish soup stall (next to dumpling stall ) is good. Not fishy n thickly sliced. Good portions too.
Kway chap , lor mee & a few other good stalls in this food centre.
authentic type lor mee thick soup , not the fake starchy type. The beef noodle soup is also thick and full flavoured, and the beef melts in your mouth
Some of the island 's best foods r here. Kwaychap from blanco court, muslim food from taman serasi etc
The ingredients used in the Gado Gado dish is nicer than many others found in aircon food court nowadays.
Shredded chicken hor fun at stall 13 & fried dumplings at stall 12 is niceeeee!!! Most imptly, love the Ai Yu Bing at stall 41! =)
Ah Seng Duck - my favourite lor duck rice . I frequent their Serangoon Central branch instead (less traffic & no queue). Excellent chilli !
Soon huat pig organ soup not worth it! It should called salted veg soup ! Yet so many ppl Q for it! Simply no worth it!
Damm nuradi satay ...only gave me 3 small pieces of tempeh and tauhu (including veges )for my gado gado...order their tahu goreng instead or visit at night where the portions given are much more bigger
Try the satay @ Nuradi Satay stall 27. The satay will leave you wanting for more. The gado-gado is the best & you can't find any better...
stall 19 福记's carrot cake is excellent. very soft texture, not overly sweet for the black nor overly salty for the white.
