Some of the stalls here have long qs - but assured that they're worth the wait! The decor is a modern x old Penang feel which is an added bonus. Even the bowls and spoon are the old-ish looking types.
recommended by my friend from Penang, i tried the wanton mee and cham peng beverage. very yummy! the taste of lard in the noodles made it taste authentic , just like the one from chulia street!
A good variety of Malaysian delights here! The highlight is the penang fried kway teo which you need to queue for. It's pretty challenging to get a seat during peak hours!
Curry chicken noodles . Enjoyed my bowl of savoury goodness. With a hint of spiciness , its suitable for diners who prefer the aroma without the heat
The penang char kway teow from 勇记 is delicious... worth queuing for!!
Penang Hokkien prawn noodles . While soup tastes diluted, it is a laudable attempt to replicate the original flavours. For those missing this dish ????
Crispy mi chiam kueh— peanut pancake (Penangites call it 'ban cheng kueh') from Penang Gurney Drive 98 Apom stall. Simple, light snack
The Penang char kway teow is probably the best hawker food stall at Malaysia Boleh. The queue is insanely long, so come early to avoid disappointment!
The curry noodles , MeeHoonKuey is very nice, Char Kuey Tiao is plain and simple, to my liking also, Try the Satay too.
WORTH COMING ALL THE WAY FROM TAMPINES! Cheap and it's delicious! Better than any others! Nice and pretty display they've ! So old Malaysia style! BOLEH AH!
Living up to its Boleh! Name just like in Malaysia the Boleh land. There is a wheelchair stairs lift but it has never been in operation and sealed up. Thus all in wheelchair will never get to go up.
Muah chee (glutinous rice dough coated with ground peanut ). Good stuff if you are craving it
Recommend the char kuay teow , prawn noodle & crispy apom. Avoid the lor Bak & oyster egg , which aren't anything great.
Bak Ku Teh is great! Rich taste for the soup , very soft meat. Comes with mushrooms too. Served in hot claypot .
Claypot rice nice. Chicken quite tender too. You will like the fried oyster if you like to eat the wet kind. Try the luo han guo longan drink for $1 only. I find the bak kut teh normal.
The soup for the prawn noodle is so thick and tasty. I heard that the base of this soup cost about $1000++ worth for a try!
Their renovations/ decorations have reminded me of the good old days at home. So Malaysia/ KL feel! Good job! ^^
This place's cool! The penang char kway teow and penang chendol are worth trying!
Char kuay teow quality has dropped, not worth the long Q. Chendol & prawn mee are both still tasty. Crispy flat peanut pancakes are good!
Malaysia Boleh! Food here also Boleh! But the physical setup ... TAK BOLEH! During peak mealtimes, there are more people lining up for food & waiting for tables than there are siting down. Avoid peak.
This place sure is crowded .. my hokkien noodles taste about the same as the ones i had in KL BUT all the noodles were broken to bits n found a long strand of hair. haiz
Authentic Penang fried Kuey Teow , prawn noodle and wanton noodle !
Tried a variety of stalls. Most dishes were so so save for the Penang char kway teow and mee Siam which were quite enjoyable.
Avoid the crowds by coming here on a week day and during off peak hours.
Damansara Chilli Pan Mee . I feel that Kin Kin is still the best.
Their fried durian is to die for! Never leave the place without one!
Must try - Char Kuay Teow , Penang Prawn Noodle
Char Keow Teow and Ba Kut Teh is nice
Penang laksa . Decent bowl served here
Bak kut teh is really nice and queue not so long also.
Super crowded but its worth coming! Claypot rice , hokkien prawn noodle , fried oyster , everything here are nice.
Assam laksa okay okay only. Hokkien Mee is awesome!
KL Hokkien Mee . $4.50 for their smallest serving was robbery. Plate was just thick noodles , 2 thin slices of pork , 2 medium-sized prawns . Worst, it lacked depth of flavours. Not ordering again
Must try their chendol!!! Bak Ku teh is good too!!! Try every thing!!!
Yummy Penang lasak $4
Amy yip bao .... Big and juicy.
Oyster omelette ('or chien'). Lame effort, lame chilli sauce
Wanton mee , so-so only. Bak kut teh , can try, passable. Fried oyster , tak boleh too starchy. Ah Pom not unique, looks like the ones you could get from Jolly bean. The real one is in Taiping, Perak.
Wanna have some Malaysia delicacy in the comfort of Singapore? There should be more of these around the island !!
I like the fried kuay tiao
Too crowded . Standard is inconsistent. Makes you feel like you are outside even though it is in a food court . Good variety of m’sian food.
The food is good and delicious.. You all should try it
Always love here. Make me think of my lovely hometown penang ❤❤❤
Place has expanded. Bigger with more stalls now
Ambiance is good but too crowded . The Hokkien mee has the KL taste, color and noodle but lacks the "wok qi" and high MSG. The luo han guo does not taste like the famous luo han guo at Petaling Street.
Awesome Affordable Tasty
Must come! The stall holders are very friendly too (:
Love the wanton mee . The char siew has 烧腊 stall's standard.
When I miss my hometown, Am here..!!!
First 4 stalls friendly , seller at coffee stall, claypot rice , oyster got attitude plm
The sungei road laksa & mee siam, the xing yun hainanese chicken rice (come early it closes at 2pm); so many eats! Only gripe is that it gets really warm so cool down with fruit juice and iced drinks! - Sophie Ng
Love the hokkien prawn mee shop beside the chicken wing shop! Springy noodles with great chilli! Worth the wait! - Gary
Must try the 27 Delicacies (#03-126). Their Curry Chicken is very unique, the best I eat so far. Dont forget their Sesame Chicken and Braised Pork Rice. Best of the Town... - Tony Ng
Outside at the 24h coffee shop, Yong Xin kway chap has very good duck rice and kway chap, and it's cheap! MUST try! - Scott Teng
After renovation for a couple of month. Everything in the cinema is brand new. Cozy chair. - Tommy Liu
