Tonic soups like double-boiled teal with cordyceps and fish maw are hugely popular and need pre-ordering.
If you don't want to queue up for the Tim Ho Wan hype, change plans to Lei Garden . Just 5 minutes walk and 2 stars instead of 1 star :-) plus much more comfortable seating .
Tis restaurant invented this Hong Kong dessert called Mango Pomelo Sago
Their thousand layer egg cake isnt good. Egg layers are thin and cake layers are thick and western style .
Chinese style buffalo wings , fresh and steaming hot dim sum . Usually have long queues unless you bribe the receptionist .
Always my fav dim sum restaurant back in Singapore. And the standard is just as great here. I ordered some dim sum and double boiled soup to share (for 2).
Very good food. Have to try their soups and roasted pork
Authentic chinese cuisine but be warned, it's definitely not aimed at western tourists . A vast majority of the menu will be alien to you.
Everything is so good.
Disappointing treatment and food. Try every other restaurant you walk randomly into over this..
Big restaurant but they don't accept HKD1,000 currency notes.
apparently the portion is slightly bigger than other branches
Dim sum , duck
Very tasty chinese food
楊枝甘露好好吃,點心只有午市有,晚上都要點大菜
Great dim sum, a level above many places. Get the pork & black truffle dumplings for the taste, so good. And the baked BBQ Pork buns. Get the lobster dumpling for a work of art. - Paul Lomax
Great food - try the lamb whole leg (pre-order). Not expensive! - Martin G
impressive cantonese dishes, location is bit isolated, but many locals come around. recommend scallop with asparagus, very fresh. fried beef belly is impresively tender. come in groups as big portion. - Will Leung
One of the best congee in HK. A really friendly lady served us. - Lye Hock Chuah
Across Mongkok road is some great offal and other local Hong Kong delights. Definitely try the various waffles, egg shaped and peanut marinated. - Van Tran
Super busy during weekends and holidays. They do have a decent food court. Huge mall. - Katrina
