Located next to Santoka in the Mitsuwa food court . They serve mostly Japanese comfort food . Their food is usually good with the exception of their pork katsu , which is too tough and dry for my taste.
Their Katsudon (fried pork cutlet with egg and onion over rice ) is as good as any I had in Tokyo. Real Japanese comfort food , without pretension.
They seem to always be running out of food. I wanted to get the karage but they ran out! I ended up getting the cutlet and it was really good!
I had the combo #10. The fried oyster was juicy and very tasty. The fish , Salmon was a bit too over cooked. My hubby’s pork chop was too dry. My daughters grilled salmon was decent
Fried chicken cutlet curry sent me to heaven ???????????? made me miss Japan so much!
The Udon Bukkake here is incredible, cold chewy and full of texture.
#22 NIKU Beef
cash only !
Not as good as Kayaba , menu severely reduced.
The place that replaced Kayaba .
Use to be good not anymore it seems:/
My favorite flavor was hoji-cha (roasted green tea). It's like a milder, toastier matcha. Still, I'd recommend getting a waffle bowl so you can try other flavors, too. - Emily Wilson
As good as kaneko in Tokyo. Best tempura you can find in the tri-state. - Chris Burke
chicken teriyaki is delicious! the chicken is really tender and the teriyaki sauce is perfectly sweet - jen chang
The roasted green tea soft serve is to die for. Delicious and not overpowering! - Jen Shin
Next to the customer service counter inside the Mitsuwa Market. Best when eaten straight off the burner. Buy 5, get 1 Free (get a mixture of offerings). The taiyaki and creamyaki are the best! - Tom
