Lovely local pub that doubles as a dancefloor a bit later at night. Selection of beer is ok, and the garden is great in the summer
Get in early for a table on Friday nights or weekends. Food is surprisingly good! But better just to come here for a booze and chat.
Great pub . Free pasta on a Monday with a couple of drinks. Good music , good vibe. Wifi password is jeffthecat
Amazing garden but it's like stepping into Made in Chelsea. Bar staff are great and do their best but are overrun.
Massive beer garden , great food and great staff . What more do you need.
Fantastic summer garden , perfect summer vibe. Needs some tunes played outside maybe.
The beef and lamb stew is rich and delicious a rare treat for a pub stew . Loved it.
very nice french fries but saltiest fish ever! Not the best place for watching football due to lack of standing places after seats are taken. I hope this place doesnt lose its vibe with new ownership.
Amazing beer garden , nice staff , nice food. I'll be coming here again for sure!
Great find. Do a clever free pasta deal when you buy 2 drinks on a Monday. Situated nicely for Brixton Academy.
The beer garden is a must! Cauliflower was really good!
This unseeming pub in a backstreet of Brixton is actually home to one of the most impressive beer gardens you've ever seen. It also has a thai kitchen and the prices are good too.
Wow this pub has changed a lot. If you're a hipster , awesome, do it. If you're after a regular boozer, don't bother.
An enormous garden with a great selection of beers (although I don't think they sell fosters).
INCREDIBLY good scotch egg . Good prices and lovely staff
Drinks aren't that cheap , but free pancakes and friendly Ipswich Town supporting bar staff are highlights. And lots and lots of sofas , which is different from my last trip.
Massive beer garden out back - curfew is 10pm though because of the neighbours
Huge backyard area, excellent selection on tap
All about the beer garden . Gets rowdy in the summer.
Amazing beer garden but there aren't enough bar staff to cope at busy times
Brilliant garden and cool interior. Come for the board games , stay for the nachos .
Food is overpriced but great garden to sit outside in on a warm summer's evening
It's all about the massive beer garden in this pub . Great space.
Grab a tap beer , head to the massive beer garden & grab a rare sirloin off the grill. Top class
Amazing beer garden . All that needs to be said.
Big, spacious and a decent mixed crowd
Amazing huge beer garden ???? ????
Nice place huge garden
The garden is fab (and huge) ????????????
Recommend the generous portion of steak .
great place but expect 1 hour++ wait for food on crowded sunny days..
Live football , massive beer garden , good beer and pool table . Job done.
They've got the best beer garden ever! Seriously!
Philly Burguer with jalapeños . (Ask about the Burguer Deal)
Amazing beer garden ! Great food!
Free bowl of pasta with 2 drinks on a Monday - today its penne
Used to be full of old men, now full of hipsters . Great beer garden in the summer.
Like seriously. The garden is great and all but for f* sake the burgers are terrible. Dry and tasteless. And our 4 orders were forgotten. The food is too expensive for the quality.
Best beer garden I've ever seen
Hidden gem of a pub with a massive back garden
Unacceptably rude staff . Kicked us out of the garden 20mins before 10pm as written on the board, in the middle of our meal with the plates in our hands. Never coming back!
amazing beer garden at the heart of Brixton Read more
This is the best beer garden ever in London
Under £6 for 2 pints. Amazing.
Fantastic pub garden and BBQ food
Pulled pork is the only menu item that matters
Great beer garden .
Not a shadow of its old self; soulless and lacking charm and character that made it so great.
Massive pub garden .
Phenomenal pub quiz.
Roasts go early on Sunday. Be early if you want more of a choice between beef, lamb, pork, chicken and nut. - Paul McCormack
Really nice pub quiz here on thursdays! Otherwise good burgers and sausages mash, decent selection of beers - Giacomo Mason
Such a hidden gem. Quite place next to such a busy area. Food is good, staff is nice, definitely coming back. - Darius Kalinauskas
Love this place, feel like a second home. The venue is beautiful! - Lydia Berkennou
OK, folks, pizza here is the real deal. Very Italian, great taste. Maybe not huge, but really really good! - Alessandro Valentini
Great mix of old school boozer & Brixton jazz! Live music is some of the best in the area, & you’ll struggle to find a cheaper pint within the M25! - Elliot Hill
