a spoonful of happiness! a must, its so good that i think i will be able to remember it for a lifetime! my friend and i smiled right after we put the spoon in our mouth, it is really that good!
This is the most elegant sushi restaurant in the Sunset District. You can’t go wrong w/the sushi here. But...do yourself a favor, get the Spoonful of Happiness. I’d be happy to just eat a ton of these.
Ignore the main menu with all the crowd-pleaser rolls. Go directly to the "Today's Catch" menu. Order one of everything. It's some of the most remarkable fish to be found in San Francisco.
Sushi is fantastic and great service at this neighbor hood gem. Try the shrimp dumplings too. There is a nice happy hour Tuesday to Thursday until 7 pm.
I'd skip the curry makerel but everything else was spot on. This and Ebisu are my favorite Inner Sunset sushi places based on quality of food and ambiance. Kiki's is your best bet for price
Come here for happy hour and enjoy cheap hand rolls for $4. The cut rolls are regular priced between $6-$8ish but still delicious!
Thought I'd love it more. Felt overpriced and I wish they had simpler rolls that let the fish shine. The best roll is delicious though!
Le-git sashimi . Fresh fresh fresh. Sit at the bar , it's worth the wait.

Amazing sushi and awesome Japanese atmosphere. Try nigiri toro and scallop salad .
The original owners, Kiyoshi and Ayumi, sold the restaurant in 2015 and have opened up Ahn Suhi in Japantown.
Spoonful of happiness is definitely one of the greatest things I've every put in my mouth.
Wow! This place is elegant from decor to food. Get the Spoon of Happiness. Get it more than once. It's hella awesome.
Really generous portions of quality fish in their sashimi combo. The tuna was amazingly fresh and flavorful.
Best sushi in sf. Sit at the bar and order the shrimp dumplings , the king crab dynamite hand roll and the azteca roll.
They have the Hosomaki rolls (less rice , nori on the outside) with more traditional Japanese fillings.
Go 'Catch of the Day' -- 1 piece of nigiri down the list. You won't be dissapointed.
Fresh uni from Japan is hard to find and there's nothing like it!!
The Spicy Tuna Wonton Tacos , from the Shared Cold Plates, were delicious! Dare I say it, better than Gott's.
The spoonful of happiness is definitely a recommendation. Uni, quail egg , tobiko ponzu , an limo, oh, my!
Always great food. Miso cod , hamachi Kama , Best Roll . Super delicious.
oh my god. the spoonful of happiness. get it.
A Spoonful of Happiness is the best "one bite" appetizer you can get from a Japanese restaurant . You'll want a lot more spoonfuls of it.
Take the catch of the day at the sushi bar
Amazing spot: Delicious sushi with honest staff and good price.
Omakase or bust. Do not ask questions. Go all out and have it all. You will not regret.
as the mayor what more do I have to say? fantastic fresh fish . spoonful of happiness and dynamite roll are 2 of my favorites.
Spoonful of happiness is a must. Comes with a shot of "sipping" sake .
Sit at the bar if possible. Share sake with your sushi chef . Order spoonful of happiness.
Didn't know that you could make a reservation at the sushi bar at any place. Well this is for the serious sushi lovers only (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Nice date spot . Fancy apps and rolls, but not for the serious sushi hunter.
