Leo Carrillo Beach was used in Inception (2010) for filming of the scene in which Cobb and Mal build sand castles . Note the building collapse as they demolish the corresponding sandcastle.
Beautiful, isolated, and dog-friendly beach . Dogs are not usually allowed at California State Park beaches , so this is very nice for our four-legged friends.
The beach is stabilized to some extent by minor rocky breaks in the shoreline & by extensive kelp beds offshore. At Sequit Point you’ll find good surfing , swimming , skin diving & cave/cove clusters. Read more
The rocks nearby can be seen in Gidget, Beach Blanket Bingo , Grease, The Karate Kid and the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie , when Keira Knightley gets Johnny Depp drunk on rum .
If I have a dog u need to go to area 3/4 n u must park ur car next to the stair that go down to those area or else u walk over rocks n stuff!!!
great place to get some quiet time in! the charge to entry is decently priced, and there are never any riffraff around to spoil your fun.

This beach is beautiful, serene, fun and a great place to spend any amount of time!
Look out for the guy who likes to paddle around you. Had to set him straight today because it doesn't matter if it's your local spot you still need to practice proper surfing edict:)
Local glamping spot! Clean bathroom , close to beach and nice weather.
$12 parking . Bring your dogs but keep North of Tower 3. And they have to stay on a leash...at least they allow pets ????????????
The dog beach here is amazing! So many cute puppies. Very clean .
Really chill beach ... also north side of Tower 3 allows dogs. So grab your fury friend and make a day of it.
Dogs are only allowed on-leash but is a great spot for surfing , camping and picnicking with your pet .
