Good for a quick bite and a cold beer . They have a self serve cooler with a wide variety of beer , including a craft selection. Some wine available as well . We ordered 1/2 lb. of shrimp and 2 beers .

Casual , ocean view seafood at its best. Fried and steamed options, both are fantastic. Only negative is that its insanely popular, st times making it insanely crowded .

Great place to take someone for a surprise treat. Distance doesn't matter when weighed against the fresh lobster and crab . Market next door sells a few good wines . Dine al fresco at picnic tables .

15 minute drive from the Navy base, easily the best place nearby for a work lunch . Grab a beer , some food, and enjoy the view .

The original building (now the Restaurant Side) was established in 1956. The location of the fryer and grill have not changed in over 50 years!

Definitely get one of the fried platters. You may be tempted to try a fish taco or something light but you will be disappointed. This place is known for fried fish , shrimp , calamari and clans.

One of my favorite places to come after the beach ! Great food, beer , and view . Not to be missed if you're in SoCal. Nasty portapotties though so do your business before you get here!

The freshest clam strips I've ever had. Even though most of the food is fried, the fish is sooo fresh! Good scallops and shrimp .

After another awesome ride on Mulholland Highway or down PCH, it's time to grab some chowder and chill out at this spot with views of the the Pacific Ocean.

Grab a Mexican Coke from the fridge & order up clam chowder & fried shrimp basket . Nosh with surfers & bikers overlooking the Pacific. (Pro tip: skip the crab cake if you've had one in MD)

Loved the grilled mahi mahi tuna and the steamed shrimps and veggies !

The bread bowl of clam chowder was great, as was the BBQ burger and fries . Service was friendly and swift

The fried sampler is too much for just two people. The clam chowder is delicious especially on a brisk evening.

Awesome stop along PCH for tourists or locals! Everything is fresh and yummy.

I was across the street, changing with a towel around my waste as they were filming a drive by scene in point break ...never saw a dime of royalties! Lol

Our favorite place for seafood ! The view is awesome too. Though... I don't recommend using the restroom as they only have the portable kind which smells bad and is normally dirty .

New England clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl . Perfect for one person or enough for someone else to sneak some bites. Amazing sunset !

Always worth a drive up the coast for yummy clam chowder and great atmosphere. Make a beach day out of it!

chowder is great.... but the fried stuff is... well , fried. not seasoned well at all. the drive up was nice though.

The shrimps basket is fab Then sit back with a beer ... Loads to choose from and look at the Harley D's coming and going

one of the best places along the coast to eat and relax. great atmosphere and food, and the views are awesome too especially at sunset .

The platter for 2 is incredible! The fish is delicious.

Yummy platter has a bit of everything. Drinks are expensive I think you can bring your own if not sneak it in. :-)

You can get a veggie burger but it will still come with fries , you can't substitute those for fruit , veggies or anything healthy unfortunately
