Great coffee and amazing hot cakes (definitely worth a try... they almost look too good to eat)! Our go to for a local brunch
Now open for dinner Thursday to Saturday nights. Chilli chicken wings with almond sauce, roasted potatoes and hokey pokey ice cream sundae = delicious. Great cocktails and service too.
Love Hobba. One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne fo sho! Food is always great, service is solid and the interior is open yet warm.
Apple, cucumber and mint juice is fantastic! Extremely refreshing and a must have. But wouldn't recommend the berry chia smoothie- no flavour whatsoever :(
Grilled halloumi and kale flatbread , handcut chips and home-made aioli . Exactly what I felt like and awesome.
Nice interior, great chai tea and delicious breakfast .
The hashbrown is more of a rosti with shallots , I didn't rate it high. Bacon was excellent. Sourdough toast was pretty good.
Great vibe, staff and food
Menu is simple and offer quality produces. Venue offers tidy seating arrangement. Team always smiling. Can't wait to head back to confirm my observations.
My Melbourne Cup Lunch - Andean Grain Quinoa , Roasted Beetroot , Braised Lamb Neck, Pistachio , Harissa Yoghurt Dressing . @HobbaPrahran @joshhpowell
Amazing coffee and it's hard to go by the polenta with black pudding . Don't knock it until you've tried it.
Good coffee . Try the hobba eggs for a hearty brekkie . French toast is decent but a bit on the small side. Hipster waitstaff and indie music .
Excellent staff and service! Despite minor hiccup with my specials order, experience was perfect
Nice coffee and good food!
Great coffee . Good vibe. Kitchen closed...can't wait to come back and try some food.
Not sure if the crying couple on the next table were breaking up or lamenting the disappointing food. Baguette shown cost $18. Fell drastically short of expectations. All instagram no substance. Pass
Great coffee & atmosphere
So nice! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Half price drinks after 5pm for the whole month of April!
I like the industrusk garage vibe. In an old shed with high open roof and natural lighting .
The beer battered chips !
I asked what grain was used in their gluten free bread and was told that it's GF which means no grains. Know your ingredients people!
Everything is good.
Good coffee - French toast v nice-bit over soaked but good flavor. Will be back.
Food is good and uses 5 senses coffee

Try the Oreo milkshake 👌
30 mins after ordering food & seeing people who arrived after us getting their order gave up waiting and paid. Person at register gave a "yep" in response to asking to cancel food order. No apology.
Single origin Papua New Guinea is fruity & sweet. Less bitterness.
Smashed avo & fetta is AMAZING!!!
Great coffee
Great coffee plus smiling staff !
the brown butter hollandaise is orgasm-inducing!
If you like a robust coffee blend and a bit of quiet to read the paper, I would give this place a miss.
Always great to learn coffee tips from the barista.
Coffee and staff service is never disappointing!

Menu is quite different from your usual fare. Coffee was well made, but lacked punch.
Try this crazy burger next time you're at Hobba
Sumatran single origin long Mac. tWas good :)
Place has gone down hill . Food is great but not worth the wait. Staff are rude and have attitude. Better places elsewhere.
Little disappointed after my last visit to Hobba. Average food. Average service.
