Soon kueh (turnip dumpling ). Sold by Mei Zhen Hakka Delicacies #02-26. $1.30 ea, min 2 pcs. Taro skin was expertly thin & chewy. Filling was turnips , shrimps , mushrooms ). Paired well w chilli sauce

Wantan mee : Stall #02-04 doesn't hv a q, but that's cos lady boss writes orders down. It's a LONG list in d morning. Waited 15mins! Passed all chks of a yummy serving: noddles, char siew , soup , wantan

Epok epok (curry puff ). He Cheng Cooked Food #02-03 may be popular for their breakfast bee hoon but I enjoyed their curry puff . Packed with ingredients + a slice of egg . Not cheap at $1.60 but filling

Prawn noodles : Quan Ann #02-11 is one the few remaining stalls serving kang kong (water spinach ), in addition to taugeh (bean sprouts ). Overall clean taste, and genuine soup base

Vegetarian options : Lontong, local desserts , muffins , kaya toast , tahu goreng , specialty vegetarian , chwee kueh, curry puff , chee cheong fun , popiah , bread & pastries , yam cake , Hakka delicacies

Freshly baked bread buns (next to 30 economical bee Hoon )- bread is fresh, n delish. 70-80 ct each for the smallish buns . Yummy Ham & cheese , red bean . Unlike muffin stall - this stall opens Sundays

Roasted meats . Enjoyed 'sio bak' (roasted pork ) from Lian Kee #02-10. Tasty meats, crackling skin. Serving comes with a bowl of vege soup

Chicken rice . Plump boiled chicken from Leong Hainanese Chicken Rice #02-22. Subdued flavours compared with Tian Tian or Wee Nam Kee, yet satisfying

Heng Huat Prawn Noodles ... Cheap and good! $5 for a big bowl of piping hot prawn noodles !! Prawns are fresh! They use lard in the soup and it's tasty!

Economic rice . Homestyle dishes from stall simply called Duck #02-16. Popular during lunchtime. I enjoyed their aromatic curry gravy

Fried kway teow . Lai Heng #01-20 sees long queues during workday lunchtime. Average sweet & wet style. Minimal vege . Missing ‘wok hei’ (smokiness). Cockles were served raw on the side!

Huat Heng Prawn Noodle is very good. Good Chilli base and power soup stock! Ingredients are also adequate! ????????????????

Wak Limah stall #02-15. Great Mee Siam , fantastic tauhu goreng .... overall great Malay dishes at sweet price.

Breakfast bee hoon . Yummy from He Cheng Cooked Food #02-03 but that's about it. The fried chicken wing was cold and not crispy when I ordered at 8:30am on a working day????????

Dapur Asiah sells cheap food for breakfast ! $2 only for lontong, mee rebus, mee siam , etc. Good choice!

You can come to this mart via Marymount MRT station. Walking distance and sheltered all the way via HDB block.

Bak Chor mee (minced meat noodles ): Tried stalls 02-21 (Zai Lai) & 02-05 (Heng Heng). Zai Lai was more fragrant & tastier, noodles were springy

Muffins , Hakka food, Minced noodles - good for breakfast & lunch

Vegetarian Bee Hoon is good and cheap . Bread from Fresh Bread is soft and nice!

Try the bakery they sell assorted muffins . You'll gonna love it. The food here is so cheap .

My favourite.... At Lian Kee.

Like 富市 roast pork and roast duck ! Try 来兴 char kway tiao - big portion for only $3. 全安 prawn mee was total disappointment.

The Mee rebus here is delish. As well as the you char kway .

Beehoon at 30 Economic Bee Hoon Nasi Lemak is fluffy and moist. Thumbs up!
