Nicely curated films and spectacularly curated snacks at this indie theater . There's a date friendly bistro upstairs and the smaller of the two screening rooms is pine scented, no joke
Balcony seats are about 2/3rds the way up the height of the screen and about equal to the row H/I/J compared to the lower level. Solid viewing location
The bar and lounge area is fantastic. Comfortable seating areas and very spacious - it's a great late night date spot if you're looking for ambience without having to shout at each other.
Seats are very comfortable ! Huge screen, any seat is perfect. Great atmosphere at the bar/restaurant upstairs. They’ll let you bring coffee down to the theatre-not alcohol though.
Their curation of films are the best! From anime to documentaries Metrograph shows it all. I recommend Metrograph to almost every friend I have. So good.
Beautiful theater , with thoughtful, excellent programming. The concessions are eclectic , delicious and cheaper than the big box movie theaters . Just go, even if you haven't heard of what's playing.
Metrograph is a wonderful gem. With a beautiful cocktail bar and restaurant , a retro-elegant vibe, and movie theaters to see acclaimed and classic films , I highly recommend this for any date night .
It is one of my favorite places to see a film . Great cocktails in the upstairs as well !
Newly opened cinema with healthy snack options and a restaurant and bar upstairs. Very eclectic selection of films , and very few showings.
what a unique spot! no signs, but an eclectic lineup of classics and indie new releases from domestic and international circuits. velvet seats
Delicious burger . They pulled it off the dinner menu , but you can still order it (and it's the best dinner dish they have.)
This place is dynamite! Cool date idea and just generally a fun experience for anyone
They have very good popcorn . The best seats are definitely the balcony seats .
A little pricey due to the hip and fashionable atmosphere but the programming is the best in nyc. Love this place.
Love the atmosphere it’s totally my go to list movie theater . Feels like living in 70s alien
Beautiful cinemas with plush comfy seats
Total gem, tucked away on Ludlow St. in the LES, which has a constantly revolving set of movies from classic indie flicks to throwback blockbusters.
We went for drinks there, great place to dine late at night, better reserve in advance.
This highly anticipated indie movie theater just opened up in the LES yesterday.
Great variety of programing so far — smile
Lovely venue, excellent bar . Expensive but delicious popcorn , uncomfortable seats but terrific programming ????
Love everything about this theater, aside from the uncomfortable seats.
Everyone here is super-nice so take your trash after the ml oviedo and leave a big tip if you go to the bar .
A gorgeous old-style Hollywood restaurant , wonderful programming, and a spacious lobby make up for the small issues.
Gorgeous Wes Anderson-inspired theater. Good restaurant upstairs
Hands down the best place to see a movie in NYC
You can pick up a 10 film pass at the box office for $120, a $30 savings off the regular ticket price — smile
Classy theater with comfortable seats and great programming.
Was here for a premiere and was very impressed with the space. The concession stand is awesome!

a little frou-frou for me but the programming is impeccable.
A is the front row, and shouldn’t exist it’s so unpleasant to sit there. Only by C or further back!
