Führerbunker is a historic and protected site Friedrichstadt Berlin located in Germany.
Gertrud-Kolmar-Str. (In den Ministergärten) 10117 Berlin Germany
There isn't anything to see here aside from a parking lot but it's still worth the wander over from the Holocaust Memorial just for the historical significance.
The Führerbunker (English: "Leader's bunker") was an air-raid shelter located near the Reich Chancellery. It was the last of the Führer Headquarters (Führerhauptquartiere) to be used by Adolf Hitler.
The plaque can be found on the intersection of Gertrud-Kolmar-Straße & Ministergärten, two small residential streets about a 3 min walk from Potsdamer Platz. The plaque was erected on June 8, 2006.
Hitler married Eva Braun in the underground bunkers , committed suicide there , instructed for his body to be burnt in the open.Covered and sealed to prevent Neo Nazis setting up a worship shrine
Not much to see but it’s interesting to go with a tour guide. They have much more to tell about the place :)
There is nothing important to see. You will find a big sign with words. That's it.
In a strange twist, it wasn’t far from the Holo-caust Memorial where Hitler spent his final days ensconced in his bomb-proof bunker.
The Soviets could not destroy it with explosives so they buried it.
I like that it’s now just a car park
Good to know that the beast really exisested.
It's about 12m below ground. Above ground there's nothing but grass in some residential building 's parking lot .
No way to enter inside where the most interesting should be
Not much to see here other than a sign with information about the bunker.
The smell of antisemitism lingers just before dawn
See the boom-gate? That's where the bastard shot himself.
Nothing to see here. It's an automobile park .
Nothing to see here but a sign...
Nothing interesting to see just a parking lot ...
Easy to find and interesting. You can take a picture and pay in dollars or euros. The museum is very informative as well. - Domnule Obzen
So much history (and music... ) in this place... - Enrique Gutiérrez Arzate
It's an ideal spot to escape the rain. The museum provides audioguides and a path lined with posters, interspersed with artifacts, creating about an hour-long walkthrough experience. Like it - Danial White
Very interesting memorial. Different from what you usually see. Be aware that there's a museum downstairs. It is free and totally worth it. - Emiliano Viscarra
Worth visiting this on a walking tour to learn about the History. You can book a walking tour for under €15 through Berlin walking tours. - Sammy Cantwell
Seriously awesome mall. Super accessible and lots of stuff to do and see. The food court was incredible as well. - Samantha Bronstein
