As a Malaysian, I'm quite picky when it comes to Malaysian food served in other countries . Rasa passed with flying colors—and then some. It's a little pricey but worth it. Ambiance is intimately quiet

Mandar M

Try the soft shell crab in massaman curry - they can make it spicy and it comes in a plentiful bowl, fast service !

Teh tarik (Malaysian milk tea ) here is legit. Many will call this heresy but I think their char kuey teow is an ok approximation of the original, even though it uses chicken instead of pork broth/fat.

Jasmine Mehrabi

Overall really good Malaysian food . Started with roti canai (a must) and calamari . Then drunken noodles & rendang beef (both really good). Also massaman and flounder curries (wish they were spicier).

Serious Eats

There's some solid Malaysian dishes like laksa , but also some good hard-to-find specialties like candied squid and maggi mee.

Kate

We ordered so much food but my favorites were the satay chicken (true textured peanut sauce ), salted egg yolk prawns , and the basil eggplant belacan

Joe Quinn

Amazing curry , among pretty much everything else. The staff is amazing and welcoming, the prices are good and the drinks are good too.

Mohammad Alam

Besides some traditional dishes like hainanese chicken , everything is great. Roti canai , chilli fried chicken , noodle dishes and soups too.

Naif

A very delicious Malaysian restaurant in a very cool area, I highly recommend the Mee Goreng “fried noodles”.

Robert Shoykhet

One of my regular spots! The Thai Fried Rice and the Massaman Curry are both fantastic.

Mandar M

If you sit at the bar you can get a free sampler of the chips :) yumm

Nacho Carmona

Best Malaysian restaurant in NY. Try any Laksa soup , they are amazing

Mohammad Alam

Definitely try their chili chicken dish. Roti canai is good too

Smitch

The roti and the redang beef are fantastic. The tapioca and Malaysian tea are the perfect finish.

Jessica Wickham

Great lunch specials . Loved my broth, chicken and noodles with side salad for only $10

Kirsten Alana

When it's cold outside, ask for the warm Tamarind cider . It warms you up nicely.

Minail

Calamari , soft shell crab , randang beef , basil prawn , mee goreng

Jonathan L.

Laksa soup broths are good. Peppery, curried , and creamy. However meat & seafood quality is poor in the soup .

The black scallion sauce is so so good!! Comes with the Hainanese Chicken .

Mandar M

Mango Cosmo !! Mango makes you tango!

Dave Cook

Housemade kaya will soon be available with your roti , or in containers to go!

Amazing roti - so fluffy! MUST order!

Misleading foursquare deal--you don't get a free sushi roll with your entrée!
