This Westin is centrally located beside Logan Circle so you’re close to attractions and downtown. That’s really what matters to me. Great beds as per usual.
The hotel is placed close to the convention center and to logan circle . Staff is very kind and you have a good bar to eat and drink
Everyone is right about the inside-facing rooms. Be sure to ask at check-in for an outside facing room. They may increase your cost but its worth it. I changed mine and they waived the cost.
Of all the Starwood hotels in DC, the W Washington is the best. Not that there is anything wrong with the Westin .
This is a pretty good hotels as hotels go, but at the same time it's a downgraded version compared to every other Westin I've been to in recent years. Service great, beds Heavenly, serviceS suck.
This place honestly feels a little stale. Rooms are hit or miss. I was her for several nights, & then moved over to The Hotel St. Gregory (newly remodeled) and I enjoyed that experience more.
My family stayed here at a wonderful price via Orbitz. I have never been happier with Orbitz. The hotel is clean , comfortable , and amazingly kid-friendly! They had cookies and milk for my 7y-o!
The suites are on the atrium side & are very noisy due to lobby bar . Also, if rooms across the way don't have shades down, you may see more than you bargined for (NSFW or kids.)
If you have a room facing into the lobby, get some ear plugs. Even at five floors up, the sound carries.
My room rate was good. Use your hotspot. The lobby facing rooms are great! I'm not paying over 275.00 a night, so I won't complain like a baby. under 60.00 for parking is ok at a 124.00 rate.
A very nice Westin . Room felt brand new and the service at the front desk was personalized and attentive.
Emsi is wrong. Internet is free of charge if you join the Starwood Preferred Guest program before you check in.
You can get a $5 credit for each day that you decline housekeeping.
If you're an SPG gold member, ask if you'vw been upgraded when you check in. You'll get an outside facing room rather than an atrium room .
You don't want a room facing the atrium/lobby. You'll hear everyone who comes in the hotel !
Nice hotel . Kinda standard nothing luxurious . Quiet and intimate . Overnight parking is ridiculous.
come with a credit card.... wifi costs ya here... other than that, its a lot of fun! they have really good breakfast here. Nice beds. Nice televisions !! i would rather stay at a marriott or something.
This is a great place, nice staff , nice pizza
Staff are friendly and helpful. The room we are staying in is spacious and bright .
Great staff , decent rooms, but ask for one that faces out toward the street!
Love this hotel , but the parking charges are outright robbery!
Hotel has a curling court by the lobby.
Get a room facing out (not inside the hotel / across from another room)
Decent enough. Pretty much what you expect. The only complaint was that it took a long time to get the roll-away bed that we paid for and had to request several times.
Rooms ending in 13 have a cool view of Thomas Circle .
Very friendly staff , spacious rooms and all sorts of options for ordering organic juice or food using Seamless. Awesome location for bars , Whole Foods or grabbing an Uber to Union Station.
Call ahead to ensure they haven't given your room away
Beds were heavenly as always. Requested a high floor. Got it. But they apparently didn't realize I meant for the view and I got a window to a wall in the lobby instead. Staff super friendly .
Staff is great, hotel is quiet and comfortable and clean , great location.
Wifi here is a bit bass ackwards. Onsite staff , says you get 1 device wifi per room, & to call for an upgrade. Tech support says you get 4, but you have to proceed as if paying again for each one.
Nice enough hotel with comfortable rooms (it is a Westin , after all) however most of the rooms look out onto an atrium instead of the city , so no fresh air and no views of DC.
Very comfy rooms try to get one not facing the inner courtyard
Unless you are a vampire make sure you ask for a room facing outside. They have a bunch of rooms whose only window face inside the atrium.
That's not a wolverine in the cabinet. Just the mini fridge . Unplug it to kill the noise.
Friendly staff . Valet takes ages.
You're close to some decent restaurants but the hotel is basic at best, even on the recently renovated club floors.
Very nice hotel . Enjoyed my stay.
Very nice hotel . Good price. Friendly staff !!
Their heavenly bed, incredibly heavenly!!!!!
Awesome hotel with excellent service
Wasn't as great as it should have been but ok. City center. Great location.
Go to Blue Duck Tavern in the hotel lobby... amazing restaurant !
Lobby not so hot but rooms are beautiful! Hotwire $107 a night. Boom!
This is a terribly low rating for a totally fine hotel that’s reasonably located. My upgraded room was a decent size...
Need directions? Ask the concierge ! She was incredibly helpful.
Buyer beware, there's no easy way to hook a shower shot up in your bathroom .
Rates at the westins in DC have been ridiculously good lately. Best hotel deal in town for premium hotels .
Pop up power strip!
The hotel isn't the newest in town , but the rates are very competitive.
