The Fairfax at Embassy Row, Washington, D.C.

Pretty big variation in quality of rooms; it is an old retrofitted hotel , so some have large utility enclosures which are remarkably noisy . Complain if you get one.

Super elegant rooms . Great location. Exceedingly pricy breakfast "buffet " consisting of eggs , bacon , sausage , and potatoes . I recommend you go out for breakfast .

Seafood salad in the lounge is awesome ... Bar tender needs to buy a book ; valet bell and front desk staff were amazing , friendly , helpful and all about making sure our needs were met.

Just a walk away from DuPont Circle. Staff was ok, didn't make an impression. Room was nice, spacious even though had interior view . Bath products were great & abundant -- love the luxury collection!

Staff is awesome, and the rooms are fantastic. Easy walk to DuPont Circle metro, and extensive dining options close by. Highly recommended.

Starbucks is just out the front door and to the right on the corner of 21st and P St. At end of block.

Daily parking avoids the hassle, call 10min ahead and they'll have your car ready to go. Super clean hotel , friendly staff

Very nice indeed, but...no free wifi (13 dollars a day and no parking unless you want to pay $40 a day for it...next time more research on ammenities.

This place has some of the best customer service! They really take care of their platinum guests. It pays to be loyal!

Lobby looks like the lobby of a nice apartment building. Hallways upstairs are beautiful as are the rooms. Can't beat Frette robes, bedding and towels.

Uber if you need to find transportation between 8:15-9:00 or be prepared to listen to the doorman whistle a cab for you for like 15 minutes.

Overall room is nice. Entrance light by door is out and air filter is clogged. Around midnight an alarm clock under the bed went off. Have to wonder how long it had been there.

Monday night, happy hour until 7. ALL wines are $5, drafts $3.

The fitness room is excellent - refrigerated towels, ear phones, bottled water, and apples all complimentary !

Mostly a fine hotel - I like their bathtub and toiletries. But they charge $12.99 a day for wifi . What century are we in?

Had a poor experience. I was put in an incorrect room first and it took management over an hour to correct. Plus they had an attitude about correcting the situation. Rooms are okay but need updating

The hallways and rooms are worthy of its ratings. The lobby experience leaves very much to be desired.

You'd think a hotel this expensive would wash their sheets. Make sure to check for dirty sheets before getting in bed.

Don't hit front desk after 10pm very rude and unhelpful. Second bed not made up, wouldn't give us our bags, bell boy didn't come and it was after midnight, wife had to argue with rude lady to get them

There's a new mayor in town

Asked for two connected room, confirmed over the phone and didn't get them upon arrival. Disappointing but staff was making effort to find a solution

Service declining. Two days in a row the room not turned in the afternoon. And one time the room was turned and no towels were left at all.

$4 soft drinks with no refill. Crazy. Food is okay, but you can definitely do better elsewhere. Service is marginal at best.

The hamburger in the lounge is excellent. Just watch out for the $7.50 bottle of budlight .
