A delicious experience of truly remarkable Indonesian food . The plates are excellent, just try the mixed one for two people, served either for lunch or dinner .
The food is excellent and the staff is so nice! I highly recommend the Blooming Tea : the best tea ever! If i come back to A'dam i'll go there for sure! Be careful: book a table on saturday night
The beef rendang is very good, so is the beef in sweet soy sauce . Very tender meat. Try deep fried dumplings as a starter. Wifi pass: kantjil01
Tried “Rijsttafel ” for the first time here, for lunch . Great selection of different tasty dishes, great balance of meat and veggies (and all so flavorful)! Heads up - you need a minimum of 2 people
The Kantjil bowl was delicious, and you can chose three combinations, base, meat and veggies . It was a big portion , and very tasty. Would go back in a heart beat. Very good ice-tea also
There's plenty of options for vegetarians here, the food was tasty and liking to our expectations, and good food proportion as well . Being a busy place, it's recommended to reserve a table in advance.
Absolutely amazing. Delicious Indonesian food at very reasonable prices (the lunch menu is 10.50€). A MUST when in Amsterdam!
Amazing Indonesian food . Served fast and with a friendly staff . The recommended beef stew and satays would be the reason to go back alone!
Already been twice, def not last one. The food is so good, so many options as well . Fast service ! Great pick if you don't want to spend to much time for dinner , but still want to eat quality!
Indonesian food is a must while in Amsterdam, and I found the menu here wonderful. We ordered a set course for lunch and it was delicious.
Delicious. Don't be put off by the fact the food is not particularly visually appealing. It's an excellent place. Super cheap . Try the egg plant and sweet pork
This restaurant is awesome: excellent Indonesian food , for a very fair and reasonable price! Don't miss the special dish with a bit of everything, for two persons!!!
The lunch option for 2 or more is a good way to try out a range of food. Good service , food quality and quantity.
Just a rijsttafel and don't bother with the rest of the menu! ???? One per person is more than enough. Really tasty and spicy , a lot of pindakaas. Enjoy!
Make sure you book . This place was packed out on a Sunday night. The spicy mushrooms in banana leaf was a highlight as was the pandan pancake with roasted coconut .
Grilled shrimp in banana leaves is do hot & delish !!! Highly recommended for those who like spicy food !
The menu can be overwhelming in options. Just choose 2-3 dishes per person and share with your friends. Do try the deep-fried tempeh .
Incredible Indonesian food in the heart of Amsterdam…
Fried rice was so tasty and spicy . Very generous portions . Very pleasant service .
This was one of the highlights of the trip, food-wise. For a fixed price you get a whole slew of delicious varieties.

Amazing Indonesian food ! Everything is small plates so order a couple per person. Decent dessert too.
Great and varied menu, would always come here for a nice dinner . Staff can be a bit more friendly , though.
Great food, great Indonesian flavors! Good price value! Definitely a come back restaurant !
Excellent Indonesian! Enjoyed the sharing menu. So much food!
Bali’s (fish ) set for 2 persons was very delicious and spicy !
Yumi says: "This one is more casual , popular, cheaper and also located in the city center yet it's fairly good. The 'everything' dish is called 'rijsttafel ' (translated as 'rice table ')."
Rice table was huge with a ton of food. While it was tasty, it was also obscenely hot with no AC and there was a mouse running around...eww. Try to sit outside in summer.
This is a nice spot for Indonesian food . Food is really good and tasty. Prices are average. Not surprising the place is crowded !
Get the starter plate with a selection of nibbles. The house "green" organic wines are lovely and crazy cheap .
You can grab a lovely healthy meal here with a vegetable dish and chicken or fish satay skewers .
The food is excellent - fresh, original, tasty! The staff is a bit too eager but friendly and the price is moderate.
Gluten free menu is restricted to only a few items without the normal sauce. Still qualify Indonesian and well worth it.
Tasty and reasonably priced. If you are on a budget and tired of eating burgers , this is the place to go.
The food is very delicious!
Been going here for years. It never disappoints!
The mangkok lunch combo is awesome! Choice of rice , veggie , and meat. Really great ambiance!
Have been to indo a few times a can attest this place is pretty authentic.. The Rendang is great!
Amazing service and great food. End it up with some Indonesian coffee for a nice evening.
Great food. If you have a choice, go for the meat dishes instead of the veggie ones.

Chicken satay with fried noodles , great food!
Very tasty! lots of great options for vegetarians .
The beef rendang was pretty, pretty, pretty good. Soto ayam fabulous. Everything tasted authentic and full of flavor.
Really nice Indonesian Rice Tables . Also great take away section! Ps: don't go for fish ... It's dry
Slow service could describe a place with much better and faster service than this place. If the restaurant is full, beware, your meal might arrive an hour late
Great lunch bowl! Delicious food, but service needs improving
Great rijststafel, big but cosy place , not noisy so a good place for a conversation.
"The highlight of the platter was the Daging Roedjak, a flavourful beef in spicy coconut sambal sauce, not unlike a creamy Thai red curry ." -Amsterdam Eats Read more
I use the take-away service after a night of studying at the University Library . Great food!
Loved the Vegetarian Rice table! Decided to come here a 2nd time and ordered the same set on my short trip :) - Jason Wee
Try one of their delicious rijsttafel menu selections and amplify with any a la cart items to make it even more delicious!! - Matt28800 @
The Roti is good, and the bananen (plantain) appetizer. Very small and always busy. But well worth the wait. Its also cheap! - Favian Leon
The historical heart of Amsterdam with plenty of interesting corners to explore - Enzo Martinelli
Lots of great Belgium and Dutch beers. Good spot for a lunch right by the canals and the spun market. - Jesse Houwing
