lomo saltado , tallarin saltado de pollo , and ceviche mixto . order these 3 dishes, share amongst friends, and squirt the green sauce on absolutely everything.
The lomo saltado is amazing!!! Haven't sampled their other dishes but it seems like they're all just as good. The only bad thing is they make you wait in line outside even if the restaurant is empty.
Love love love this place. Very casual but delicious food. Seafood plate is huge portions and not very expensive . Must see spot
Everything we ate was good but the Lomo saltada was just awesome. The meat was so soft and tasty.
Lomo Saltado is the best. Their green aji sauce is also fantastic!
Lomo Saltado is amazing. No doubt about it.
You can’t go wrong here, but the Lomo Saltado is a must. So simple and satisfying -- beef , french fries , onions , tomatoes and rice -- a perfectly well rounded meal. - Jeremy
It's been a while since I've been to Mario's (ate at INTI's 2 weeks prior). IMHO, INTI's is a little better. Mario's is a little too hyped for their quality of food, taste and service. 3* out of 5*
Peruvian food ❤️ ????????. I recommend number “14”
This place by far has some of the most delicious Lomo Saltado . Can't get enough of it. And if you enjoy spicy treats, sample their green super HOTTT sauce.
Get the lomo saltado and make sure to get extra aji sauce (green sauce )
The best ceviche in town . And lomo saltado !!
Put your name down at the take-out table, wait outside the door for a long-ass time. Don't be a moron like I and stand around outside for fifteen minutes.
The Ceviche de Pescado and Lomo Saltado are amazingly good.
Get one of the saltados (I recommend the mariscos ). Who doesn't love French fries sautéed with meat/seafood ...
fish and shrimp ceviche are delicious. and that green sauce is killer spicy !
I like the big seafood octopus .
A must try is the Ceviche Mixto and Saltado de Mariscos . They always have the freshest fish .
The best place to get saturday brunch or just dive into peruvian culinary culture
Ceviche is a must! If you're a seafood lover, try the siete mares soup . Delish!
Ceviche and bread served before the meal were delicious. Beef soup was greasy and nothing spectacular.
The Chupe de Camarones is awesome!!
Enormous potions. Mixed seafood is great.
Best lomo good service and express. Not a fancy dinning
look just get anythin good here & itz 99% of the time good !! dont forget homemade green verde avacado sauce :D
Been coming here for over 20 years Ale is the best!
Ceviche is awesome. Best Peruvian in LA .
Thumbs up on the Ceviche Mixto -- and be sure to chase it down with an Inca Kola!
Good luck with parking and wait times. Totally worth it
Start with ceviche or chupa de camarones . My fave entree is tallarin de mariscos .
So much food. You really don't need to order a lot.
Best lomo good service and express
My Peruvian spot. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Special... Not on the menu : Pescado Saltado... $12.25. I got mine with a fried egg . YUM!
Lomo Saltado if you're into beef . For seafood try the Jalea De Mariscos . Ceviche is also excellent.
I haven't found a place in LA or SF with better lomo saltado than Mario's.
Lomo saltado , arroz chaufa con mariscos & horchata . Skip the Inca cola, too much like carbonated bubblegum
This place is way overhyped. The seafood is fresh, the food poorly seasoned. It is not a good sign when a Peruvian place cannot make ceviche . Way over do the chili and celery , overpowers the fish .
Try the ceviche ! The best in LA
Tallarín saltado with beef is the best dish!
Shrimp chaufa is where it's at.
Best ceviche in town .
Get the loma saltado half chicken half beef . Best of both worlds!
Chicken saltado, or chicken fried rice always a great choice.
Alex is the best
After hearing everyone praising the lomo saltado...i was expecting something better....i mean...its not bad...but ive honestly had better...all in all id rate the lomo saltado a 6 out of 10.
Their "saltados" are bomb...good grub
try the jalea de mariscos and the pescado macho. both rock.
Spend the wait around back at Cafe Americano
Ceviche mixto . Amazing.

This is the place to eat sea food in L.A. The halibut is my wife's favorite. The clam chowder in a cold day hits the spot. - William Matzuy
Super fresh. BYOB option is awesome with Cap n' Cork right up the block. - Jason Redmond
They give samples. They have at least one vegan flavor and waffle cones are vegan too. Great customer service. - Ana Vitik
Very nice and iconic shopping center. Nice variety of high end and more affordable shops. Amazing options for food in the farmers market. Can get crazy busy and be hard to quickly get in & out of - Michael Morgan
