Never knew chicken & waffles (best waffles by far) could compliment each other so well . Order the mac & cheese on the side as well , it's so freaking good.

Go with the classic 2-piece with waffles . Don't skip out on the grits or greens. And see if you can sit in Mama's section... she's a bit mean but warms up quickly and will treat you like family.

Obama came here! The chickens great - get the thigh wings and drumsticks. Breast can be kind of dry as expected from breast. Mac n cheese was nice too! AND they have fresh orange juice !

Eschew all of the butter and about 75% of the syrup . Chicken and waffles make for a great quick meal here.

Obviously the fried chicken strips with hotsauce dipped in maple syrup is the bomb. The greens also very tasty.

I love the chicken gizzards here, nice and crispy which goes well with grits and eggs .

The waffles are the small grid variety and have some enchanting magic spices which make them delicious.

Great place to eat it's all good. Not a whole lot frills but real good food.

#13 with a side of cornbread . The sweet tea is the perfect compliment to a good ol fashioned southern supper

Large portions ! First time to try hot water cornbread , it tasted strange. Don't get the Jean's Delight. Chicken & waffles are good. Waffles are very soft.

The service is great. Feels like your at Aunt Judy house...come on in baby and I will fry u up some chicken .

Get the half chicken with 2 waffles ... add a side of mac & cheese and rice & gravy and you'll have plenty to share for 2 people.

When things get back to normal, avoid dining here on weekends cus it's always an long wait for an table so come Monday-Thursday or order takeout !

I'm not huge on fried chicken , but these are the best waffles I have ever had in my life.

Beware that if you eat chicken and waffles here on a hot day, you will be sweating butter and chicken grease the rest of the day. Worth it? HELLS YEAH.

The "Country Boy " is amazing! I would never think that Fried Chicken AND Waffles was a great choice together.

This location has a parking lot , which means it should be easier to find a parking spot (if you're lucky).

Please believe the hype! The chicken was everything!
