Weather wasn't good today so decided to visit the museum . Was amazed at how much time we spent here and it was great for the kids. Even had activities for them every Wednesday. Highly recommend.

Everything from mummies to strange creatures in bottles like in the horror movies . Some truly interesting history. Not the largest museum but I wasn't disappointed.

Archaeological Research Collective Inc

Their permanent displays have artifacts recovered archaeologically, and they have rotating exhibits that commonly have artifacts from excavations.

If you knit, sew, spin, tat, weave, or quilt, check out the wonderful fiber arts display , about halfway through the main gallery on the second floor!

On a rainy day, check out the Charleston museum. They have a giraffe and whale skeleton as well as a funeral carriage and even an advertisement to come out to Isle of Palms since there is no malaria!!
