Two words: spiral staircase. And one more word: BEAUTIFUL! A must-see for architecture lovers.
Interesting but don’t go on a hot day. Only one room is air conditioned and it was stifling.
Photography is allowed inside.
Weather wasn't good today so decided to visit the museum. Was amazed at how much time we spent here and it was great for the kids. Even had activities for them every Wednesday. Highly recommend. - Reginald Lassiter
Great tour. Very reasonable. Gives excellent perspective on Colony, Revolutionary, and pre-Antebellum history. - Beth Bond
Considering the history, i think this museum could have been more engaging. That said, entry is relatively cheap so worth it to get a quick overview of the role Charleston played during slavery. - Corley Stone
Extremely hot inside and u must check ur bags. Mosquitos voracious in courtyard. Bring bug spray. - Steve McDaniel
