The most magical, mystifying, marvelously marinated, magnificently meaty, melt-in-your-mouth, charcoal-roasted premium char siu pork armpit, aka 不見天叉燒. #ProTip: Queue for first batch starts at 730am.
Go for the Premium Char Siew . It's one of the best char siew you can find in a hawker centre.
The wantan mee is blended nicely with the premium pork and 3 wantans all for $3 or $4. The whole soy sauce chicken is only selling at $18. That explains it has the longest queue within the food court .
Believe the hype about the Premium Char Siu . That’s the primary draw.
I feel the $6 premium WTM is filling enough as a serving. Already quite a sizeable portion of balance lean-fatty char siew (BBQ pork )
This is their $11 premium WTM. Double the amount of premium char siew from $6 plate, plus some winter lettuce.
Limited quantity for their premium ‘char siew ’ (BBQ pork ), which is leaner than usual cuts. Their normal char siew is just as good
Stall closes every monday, tuesday, friday. Regular chasao is very good. Try the premium chasao, you will never go to other stall ever again.
The Char Siew (BBQ Pork ) & Wanton Noodles is definitely worth a try! The pork is juicy & tender without any fats. Noodles are QQ & tasty with a nice sauce. Comes in $2.50 & $3.50 portion!
Stall closes when char siew sells out, even if you just wanted the wanton noodles w/o the char siew . Noodles are QQ and char siew are tender to the bite. The 30min queue is a turn off though.
While I like the flavour of the premium char siew , the texture is too chewy for me. The noodles and wanton are just ordinary. I personally won’t spend time queuing for this.
The char siew is really good, even better than most roast meat joints.
The char siu uses the flesh from the pork 's underarm. The char siu is usually sold out by 2pm on most weekdays.
Everything.
This stall has one of the longest queues in Tiong Bahru Market :) noodles are must try!!
The homemade roast pork is not oily at all. Healthy!
Just better but won't bother to queue again. If queue past column, it'd take more than 30mins . And you'd get lesser pieces for same $5 if you're queue behind. Slow service.
Give the premium Cha Shao a try!
The chai po portions are so generous, salty and yummy. Goes so well with the soft rice cakes. Guilty pleasures definitely worth repaying in the gym! - Elizabeth Lee
Best curry rice ever. Try the pork chop, spring, black bean fried fish (if available) and chap chye. - Shannon Low
Top 3 Lor Mee in SG for sure. V gd quality vinegar used gave a slightly sweet fragrance n worked perfectly with gravy n all ingredients. Make sure u enjoy the crisps b4 they softens! #ThomtoriEats - Ian Thomtori
Superb, with excellent tasting tau pok cooked in curry, but the chicken is cooked separately hence isn't quite as tasty. All in all, highly recommended. - Benjamin Tan
Hands down the best plate I've tried on Singapore. You need to wait for a 1 hour line but totally worth that pork broth with all the toppings and noodles, vinegar&spicy flavor. Best pork dish in town! - Rafa Larrañaga
Amazing chicken curry noodles. Service is brusque — not rude, they're very passionate about what they do. I love it. - Adrianna Tan
The chocolate kouign amman is perfect with coffee. The regular one is nice too. - joahnna
