Holiday Inn Austin-Town Lake

Old hotel but revamped right on the Colorado River and a short 10mins walk to Downtown Austin and 5mins from the famous Bat Bridge with great views . Staff was knowledgeable and helpful  

Whether you're here for a layover or a business trip, do yourself a favor and become a temporary alcoholic by hitting up Rainey St. Houses disguised as bars eliminate a dull pub crawl? Yes, please.

I was particularly impressed with the fitness center . The room has a nice selection of treadmills , free weights and other exercise equipment.

Dated and cramped rooms. Elevator situation poor for the number of guests. The nice part is the central location right on the running/walking trail .

Priority Club Level on floor 11, got a spacious room , lake view and brand new tv and bed, though the style is still outdated... Anyway free water, free wifi ... I like

The roach coach's next door have good food. A little pricey but more than enough grub for a serving size

Situated on the eastern edge of downtown and on the lake gives guests a spectacular view from just about any room.

Updated rooms now. Nice tv 's and beds. Kind of far from downtown , but convenient to I-35. Good view in lake view rooms.

You can race around the circular hallway on your floor. Fastest lap: 5.73 seconds (w/ socks)

The service in the restaurant is like amazing. Not excpected but superb.

Skip the Hotel Breakfast , go get some breakfast tacos from the food trucks across the parking lot .

Look for the price its a deal. Free aiport shuttle is clutch

Nice to have shuttle service from the airport and I even got a ride downtown , too.

Its been said, but needs to be said again. Incredibly dated rooms. 2.5 star hotel

If you get the handicap room and are taller than 5'5" hang the shower head over the shower curtain rod so you don't have to squat. But don't expect water pressure or hot water.

It's considered a fire hazard to bring a cot into a room that already has two beds. If you have three people sharing one room, claim a bed quickly. The floor is uncomfortable.

Don't drink the water; it smells like the lake .

They do awesome Segway tours . Well worth it.

Kassie at the front desk is a cutie.

Rooms are small and but outdated but it's right on Town Lake Trail . Can't complain about that...

Will never stay at this dump again. Bartender or busboy stole my cell phone, senior management refused to do anything about it. Had a corporate account that I was in charge of so took $ elsewhere.

Coin dryer in the workout room doesn't dry your clothes .

The room sucks and the shower had hair in it. This hotel is dirty and the water smells disgusting. It's too far from downtown . I really don't have anything good to say about this hotel .

Get some sleep here.

They easily accept the 2:00 late checkout .

Beds were so terrible that hubs and I had to sleep separately :/

I would avoid the restaurant .

This hotel sucks. Do not stay here. It smells bad, rooms are small, ac is weak, elevators sometimes work....
