Hotel is modern and trendy . Great stay for conventioneers and tourists . Walking distance to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to catch a game or two. Just a few steps to all the actions too.
This hotel opened in 2011 and still is a new property with great bars/lounges and great staff . Only a 5m walk to French Quarter and a 7mi trip to/from the Amtrak Station! I'd stay here again xx
Attended conference here; Great hospitality , attentive desk staff . Parking was expensive . Stay at the attached Hyatt House for a suite with kitchen, breakfast included. Enjoyed Bgorne restaurant , too!
The vitascope lounge is a great place and you can sit in an area with your own tv and watch whatever game you want. However - the elevators are confusing
The entrance smells like magnolias and the elevator ride has amazing views like the tower of power at cedar point
Big, good service , easy in and out right on the loyola streetcar line . We loved the location even though we spent a lot of time in the French Quarter.
This is our second time at this hotel . Outstanding facility with several awesome restaurants , bars inside.
Just another large corporate hotel . Perfect for conferences and business-types. The staff was very nice and made it say comfortable .
Friendly front desk staff . There's a big Starbucks and a full svc Fed Ex office on site open 7 days a week. My Room is small for my taste. Tiny bathroom , an armoire instead of a real closet.
The elevators are different than others - you need to use your keycard or the dialpad to call. Don't board without doing this. No buttons in car for floors. Cars A-D are lower flrs, E-H are upper flrs
Beautiful hotel , valet parking , close enough to the French quarter, great service (valet needs better organization though)
Great views , wonderful drinks, and a very helpful staff . It's a perfect place to stay!
Great place to get ignored by crooked bellmen, then struggle up two escalators with 100 lbs. worth of baggage and an injured hand to get to an insane elevator that won't stay open long enough to enter
Really nice rooms, really good service , 5 minute walk to the French Quarter; all in all a great place to stay.
Traveler beware: Request an even numbered room. Odd numbers are in for a daily alarm clock of a garbage truck - complete w/ a symphony of beeps & dumpsters crashes - at the convenient hour of 4 a.m.
Attached parking garage is at 1301 Girod Street but is cash only and gives change in dollar coins. Park at 1200 Poydras instead (blue PARK sign before hotel ).
Awesome amenities , good food, good place for events and banquets. Nice sports bar and good restaurants . Nice pool.
The check in was rather painful and finding your room can get a bit tricky as this place is quite a maze. Great spot though if you're going to an event at the Mercedes Super Dome.
You have to check out Vitascope, the new lounge . The Mixologists will get you hooked up with something uniquely amazing!
Excellent spot for a convention or to stay for a fun weekend in New Orleans.
Friendly staff . Comfortable beds . Convenient to sites. If you are here for a conference bring a jacket to meeting g rooms
the north wing i believe was the old part of the hotel . for a new yorker, the room is big enough and theres a balcony . newly renovated. looks classy . though no coffee maker in sight :(
Come by the AT&T Fan Zone at Bracket Town at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on Mon, April 2, for a chance to get an autograph from basketball legends Jay Williams, David Robinson, & John Havlicek!
Love the convenience of the check in/check out kiosks. You can print boarding passes before you head to the airport - potential time saver.
The Vitascope is definitely a must-try for its seafood delicacies and state-of-the-art entertainment system featuring 25 flat screen TVs .
If you like soft beds and soft water, this is the hotel for you
If you're staying at this hotel , beware that getting a cab when a game is over is near impossible. AND the cabs WILL charge you special event pricing even if you didn't go to the game.
Elevators are state of the art , and we had no issues with speed. Beautiful hotel . Vitascope Hall was terrific for football and great food.
A newer, conveniently located hotel . We stay here a lot when we're in NOLA.
The club floor is absolutely worth it and the staff is beyond spectacular
Good morning from the first day of the U.S. Conference on AIDS. We're on Level 4 hosting a social media lounge and usability testing in Imperial 11 and 12 - come say hello!
Great place to stay will not be disappointed...
Decent hotel , but nothing special. Can get a Le Meredian Starwood hotel in the area for about the same price. I'm usually not a fan of atrium style hotels but this one had some ok amenities
Download the Vitascope Hall app to add songs to the playlist. Great use of technology!
"parallelssummit2014" access code seems to work throughout hotel WiFi networks /// Visit Ecwid booth 200 for world's best private label ecommerce storefront
Using the self check in area was a breeze! Just love how I'm welcomed to my room!
Beautiful hotel and plenty of options if you want to stay in
Great modern hotel !!! Family friendly , close to French quarter!!!!
Grab a Starbucks and lunch at 8 Block and a cocktail to watch a game at Vitascope Sports & Media Bar , heaven!
Check out the Regency Club on the 32nd floor . Amazing views - descent food!
Great accommodations and overlooks Superdome .
One of the best hotel gyms ...killer views
Ask for the running route. It's a gentle 3.5 mile run to and along the river .
Great place within walking distance to Canal Street
Beautiful place. Comfy beds
Wonderful place to stay. Just beautiful.
Pool area is awesome!rooms are excellent!!!!
Beds are really comfortable
when there are several people waiting fo the same elevator car and you are pointed towards the same one keep punching you floor into the pad
Don't use the self check in the first time you are at this hotel . Trust me. A tad confusing at first.
their sausage in blankets were great and the perfect thing after great drinks - Liz Parrott
You can use Starbucks Gift Cards/app here, but you can not redeem earned rewards here. They do however give a complimentary drink per day of you are a platinum Hyatt member. - Travis Turner
Nice spot for lunch or dinner situated in the center of the atrium at the Hyatt Regency. It's great that you can dine from the buffet or order à la carte. We love the bread pudding and fried oysters! - Service Metrics Group
The view of the city and curve of the river from the riverview room is spectacular! - Amy
An upscale hotel with wonderful service, nice rooms, excellent location, and great food and drink options onsite. - Dave Sawyer
Cocktails on the porch, you can't go wrong. I suggest the Mint Julip. - Michelle
