This Malay rendition of Kueh tutu has a less dense outer white 'shell' which melts-in-your-hand! Nonetheless, the Gula Melaka (palm sugar ) centre is thick and fragrant. Best eaten when piping hot.

One of the most flavorful putu piring in Singapore, the sweetness of caramelized sugar is top notch, the texture and pandan are really good.
Legit stuff. It's hard to find good kuih tutu in Singapore. The santan is fresh. The gula melaka melts in your mouth and the cake holds well .
Don’t miss this snack if you are in this area. It’s as good as it can get!

Putu Piring is amazing. This is the Malay version using gula malaka and coconut made by a Malay family.

The best snack to have on a cool weather is this steaming hot tutu kueh. 3 for $1. Waiting time can be quite long but worth it.
