Wonderful place to stop after seeing the sunrise at Haleakala. The breakfast was great and the service was warm and friendly .

Worth the stop because of the absolutely gorgeous gardens out back. Food and service was great for breakfast too!

Very good breakfasts and lunches - especially the wood fired pizza ! Excellent view of the Valley Isle with a very nice landscaped garden and nice little art gallery . Worth the visit for sure!

The restaurant is now 5 Palms at the Kula Lodge . Same vibe. Different menus. Same high quality. Reasonable pricing.

The view was amazing. Sit outside if you can. Gorgeous, peaceful garden . We ordered the pizza which was quite good. The beer selection wasn't great but was adequate.

This place is all about the setting! Breakfast was good (especially after sunrise at Hale'Akola) but the grounds and view are gorgeous.

Corned beef hash made in-house, really good! As a corned beef hash connoisseur, I highly recommend ordering!

Loco moco is just ok. View is nice and the atmosphere is comfy if you are coming down the mountain on a bike . Get here around 9 to beat the other tourists and bikers.

Breakfast burrito is really good. Instead of spicy / hot, it has small pineapples , and a sweet taste .

View is awesome. Get there before sunset . Service was NOT great. Food was less than average. Onion Soup and soup of the day were big dissapointments. Prime Rib needed way more salt & seasoning.

What a view ! We got lost finding it so make sure you're careful with directions! Giant portions - the pizza can serve three people!

The building has been here since the 1930s and was originally a single family home. Since converted to a restaurant in the 1960s

They don't let you seat outside during the week, but don't seat indoor close to the windows. It's burning hot, be exposed directly to the sun.

Strawberry cream on the Belgian waffle was sickly sweet. Service was kind of slow and the free wifi doesn't reach all the tables.

The pizza is amazing fresh out of the wood fired oven.

My brother ordered eggs Benedict with the sauce on the side but the order came smothered in sauce. The waiter didn't seem to care at all.

The ONLY thing this place has going for it is a view from a handful of choice tables. Grumpy host. Inept server. My prime rib came out an hour late, cold, and without cutlery. Everything tasted bland.
