Their Vietnamese sandwiches are just spicy enough, with the right amount of filling at the right price. They also have great salads & sweet potato fries with curry aioli . Read more
Vegetarian tofu banh mi is underwhelming. If you're looking for a vegetarian banh mi get the cauliflower one.
Hot damn I love their sandwiches . Great prices. And the fries are fantastic. Love this joint. Get the tofu !
Good veggie options . I like the tofu sandwich more than the eggplant . The salt and pepper garlic fries with sliced jalapeños are good. Also a pretty decent Vietnamese coffee .
Crispy tofu sandwich is delicious. Topped with cauliflower relish , no mayo needed.
Tried the catfish recently; it was meh. My go-to is the Combo bahnmi. jalapeno 's are a must or youre weak!! just dont go here if youre after authenticity--i suggest Saigon Sandwich in the tenderloin
Mama Tran's crispy egg rolls and the bun noodle bowl are very tasty and filling, the limeade is a bit too sweet and sour though. Good atmosphere and music .
Give the rice bowls a try! The caramel citrus rice bowl with brown rice and grilled tofu is topped with fresh avocado , beansprouts, orange , and grapefruit , and is mighty good.
Pork banh mi is a little pricier than your traditional hole in the wall , tasty and good quality.
Lemongrass pork banh mi was bomb. Lots of meat!
Sloppy bun with a fried egg is a must try... Side of sweet potatoe fries with curry mayo is delicious. Cool spot
Vegetarian sandwich is good (eggplant and cauliflower ). The vegetarian salad is ok. Everything else vegetarian has a very strange taste. The combination of flavor is just odd.
Caramel citrus bowl ruined me for all other Vietnamese food . Amazing fusion ideas here.
great spot, they have beerlao (dark and lager ).
Smokey eggplant sandwich is flavorful but greasy because of the deep fried eggplant .
The salt and pepper fries are to die for. I love the tofu sandwich too.
Love their Grilled Pork sandwich . Get it hot! Also their papaya noodle salad is also quite tasty.
Spot the Belly Bun on Foodspotting's Heard About SF Guide...but you must try the Caramel Citrus Rice Bowl (delicious white garlic rice )
Caramel bowl w/ lemongrass pork , pickled daikon , & brown rice . So good, jalapeños are a perfect compliment.
Great service! Try the catfish and do yourself a favor and add guac ????
strawberry lychee lemonade and caramel citrus bowl with tofu ! a must.
Love the food. The sandwiches could use more meat. They offer more protein for $2.50, but seems like you should get enough for the base price.
Go with the pork belly sandwich and ask for extra cilantro + jalapeños . Best post drinking dish ever.
Hawker Bowl ???????? and strawberry lychee lemonade ????????
Salt & Pepper Garlic fries are the best here, addictive and spicy . Was the meal down with their iced coffee .
Great place for doing work. The Cable Wi-Fi wireless network is super fast in here
The tofu here is surprisingly good. As in no-part-of-me-wishes-this-was-meat good.
Get an egg with the sloppy bun . You'll love it.
Everything is great here
The sandwiches taste great, but they aren't very filling, so be sure to order the garlic or sweet potato fries .
Get the 5 spice chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries
Great casual spot to grab a quick bite . Vegetarian friendly too.
Try the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi - I prefer this bread to Num Pang's crustier bread in New York City !
The Sloppy Bun with a fried egg is a four napkin sandwich . Deliciously sloppy.
Get the belly bun ! The five spice chicken bun is excellent as well :)
Belly bun sandwich with extra egg . Delicious and messy. !
They use the wrong kind of baguette . It's too much like a French loaf than the ultra-light Vietnamese style .
Combo banh mi - small, but filling!
Sloppy bun with a fried egg is the way to go.
The Five Spice Chicken sandwich is fantastic.
Ask for spicy peanut dip for rolls
Banh Mi is the best thing on the menu
Good because the ingredients are top notch. However there are better Banh mi joints in the tenderloin.
The pork belly with hard boiled egg was delicious! I hear it's also good with a sunny side up egg .
Food is DELICIOUS and the chocolate coconut cookies are almost orgasm inducing
It's such a cute lil fun place but very disappointed to learn that everything, and I mean everything has fish sauce - even in veggie sandwich or salad . Wish I knew before I ate :( Dislike completely.
The smoky eggplant banh mi is a treasure. Also, don't be a wuss; go for the spicy .
The Saigon Peanut Bowl with Garlic Rice was so so. I would go with a Sandwich .
Good shit right here. Loved the lemongrass sandwich .
They deliver on a red scooter and how much fun us it to say BUN MEE .... you know you wanna !!
Both the bun (vermicelli noodles) dishes are really good! - Chuck
Crunchy Nem Roll (on an inconspicuous sign) is something I always crave. It's a fresh spring roll with grilled pork, avocado, mint, vermicelli and fried crunchy egg roll skin inside! Yummmm! - Kiana Lynn
Banh Mi, Fresh Bowls, and Fresh Rolls are all great. Recommend the Pork Bowl for a cheap, filling bite. - gagan singh
The green smoothie with banana and ginger! The stumptown cold brew on tap was incredible! - Monica Zarate
Amazing space and fun atmosphere. Easy to get to the front of the stage! - Jessica Karle
Excellent park facility in Pacific Height. There is a kids playground area and also large grass area for dogs. Breathtaking view of SF. Two visits during our short trip to SF. The kids love it here. - A S
