decent view out over the bay to koko head if you don’t feel like climbing to the summit
Good first foray into grasping what a volcano crater looks like, before you go to Volcano Park in Big Island .
Is still before the entrance to the crater tunnel and has a turnaround for vehicles that do not want or are not allowed to drive into the crater .
