Located in Curry Hill (South of Murray Hill on Lex), this amazing little gem never disappoints. It's one of the hipper spots on lower Lex and the dishes are delish! Try the Chicken Tikka Masala , YUM!
Best neighborhood spot for Indian food in the city ! Get the chicken tikka masala , cabbage , daal, cauliflower and potatoes , chicken tandoori , and extra orders of their buttery naan .
Chicken tikka masala was perfect. Daal was a bit to spicy for us,but good enough.Generally food was not so spicy that Europeans cant handle.Good rice pudding .1of the best Indian restaurant I had been.
Clubby Bollywood music , decent chicken malai kebob, Kali mirch (peppery curry ) tc & more vinegary (vs sweet) lasoni gobi (cauliflower ). Complimentary peppery pappadum w/ chutneys is a nice starter. ;)
Great place for Indian food . I feel the taste of Indian style . A tasty chicken tikka and a Naan Roti combination were wow! Good rice pudding with a spicy dal. I loved it.
Great lunch buffet ! The good reviews are true. Loved the fresh naan and extra food brought to our table. It is a tight space so people can definitely hear your convos. New fav Indian spot in the area.
Love this place. Tangri kabab was deliciously prepared. Chicken biryani was really good too but chicken was dry. We also got the handi chicken . Really nice flavors.
great selection of North Indian food , well made and has the authenticity of punjabi food, the makani daal, tandoori and butter chicken is enough to keep you happy, they have a great buffet .
Extensive and tasty lunch buffet . They even bring fresh made bread and tandoori chicken .
$10.95 lunch buffet is delicious and definitely more than worth the price. Naan , 2 kinds of rice , 3 veggie and 2 chicken options. Plus 5 chutneys !
Great lasooni gobi appetizer . The chicken dahiwala & malai kofta are both great main dishes. One of the better Indian places in the area
The appetizers (mixed pakoras ) were a welcome change from the usually oily and slightly stale but brought-back-to-life pakoras most places serve! Very good entrees and service is likeable too.
The service can be a little slow, but let your waiter know the flavors you like and let him pick. Great stuff.
Wow to the lunch buffet . Chicken Tikka and Mattar Paneer were great, and the Tandoori Chicken was out of this world. Not a huge fan of their take on Saag , and that is generally my favorite dish.
Great choice of vegetarian food . Delicious paneer
The garlic naan was fluffy and buttery, and the papri chaat was out of this world. The ambiance was a bit loud but the food was all really solid.
We were here with an Indian friend and had Nan with Chicken Tikka Masala and Okra Masala . It was unexpectedly tasty.
Try the crunchy purani delhi ki papri chaat , composed of a layer of fried wheat discs piled with chickpeas and diced potatoes . It’s one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more
Come for weekend brunch super cheap and the food is fresh and amazing g good place for brunch with friends
Great lunch buffet deal. Selections rotate throughout the week. Waiters walk around giving out naan and tandoori chicken .
I'm told that a dhaba is basically like a roadside diner but in India. The food here is awesome. And the Kingfisher beer is a staple.
Chicken tikka masala is good and mild. Good choice of both north and south India but a little bit heavy after
Authentic northern Indian food ! Get a bunch of things to share. Really hard to go wrong.
Love the fact this place is open until midnight on Fridays. Late night dining that's not a diner or fast food like the neighboring Curry in a Hurry.
Get the butter paneer . Kind of an unexpectedly loud atmosphere for an indian restaurant but it was awesome. The music made me want to dance . (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
The lunch buffet is totally worth it. The saag paneer and chicken tikka masala were great!
Good food (try the methi chicken ) but disappointed on other levels. No starters past 11, disinterested attitude, scalding hot gulab jamun .. And 'service with a smile' was long forgotten that night.
Best bang-for-your buck Indian lunch buffet in Curry Hill . Also, unlike the South Indian places in the hood, it's not exclusively vegetarian .
Love love the food and the menu! The ladies room and service could use the same level of attention though...
Chicken Kali Mirch: a creamy, spicy peppercorn sauce . Also the naan is a great deal; you get way too much
Chaat and dal were off the charts. Friendly staff . Highly recommend for way above average indian fare!
Food is good, wish it was spicer. Probably dumb it down for the murrays that wander into curry . Waiters kind of stand around and look at you.
If you're a gobi lover and not a aloo gobi lover, you can ask them to make them for just gobi (no aloo).
Lunch special is a steal! Get the chicken tikka masala and the saag paneer
Got a full vegetarian meal and it was delicious!
Delicious authentic Indian food (my friend's parents were in town from India and this is where he took them).
Really good, authentic , Indian food . Lunch buffets aren't as good as dinner , since you can't customize the food.
service was fantastic, food was abundance, spicy according to your taste bud..& chicken butter murgh!
Recommend the lunch buffet . Chicken Tikka Masala and saag paneer dishes here are amazing
When they say the lamb vindaloo is spicy it's really SPICY . And I'm a spice whore. Also ten on ten for the roomali roti .
Lamb Biryani is delicious. Also $15 BYO - hit up 111 Lex liquor store or your own house if you can
A must: come for lunchtime Indian buffet . You'll be nicely surprised by the amazing menu and service.
A pitcher of beer along with some great kebabs , lamb chops & Chicken Biryani ... Delicious!!!
The lunch buffet is pretty great
Tasty chicken tikka masala and a good ol' mango lassi in a mason jar with a handle. Music is quite loud tho. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Good Indian food - their Tandoori chicken is great.
Amazing food! If I lived here I'd be back at least once a week!
My favorite Indian place in Manhattan. The Chicken Tikka Masala is my favorite!
Fantastic tandoori dishes and naan prepared just right.
The chicken in a creamy peppercorn sauce is amazing! I highly recommend.

Excellent Indian food and a ton of vegetarian options. Make reservations. - Kathryn D
Excellent food. For the $14 lunch buffet you get brought Chicken Tandoori, Naan etc as well. Great stuff! - Jim Ross
Stadium seating, friendly staff and away from the tourists. One of my fav theaters in the city! - Norman Ellis
Beautiful park, plenty of seating, really nice in the evenings. Shake shack always has a line, but it's worth the wait - Justin McKissick
Deli upstairs has bomb and authentic middle eastern sandwiches. Don't miss it! Try basterma with lebney. - Gemma Qin
