This has become my favorite Indian place in the city . The staff is awesome and the food is consistently great. Delicious vegetarian options ! Try the Jaipuri Kofta , Bikaneri Paneer , and okra .
Well-executed Indian plates are found at this below-ground eatery . Vegetarian options are plentiful as well , such as the Subz Tikka Masala , but don't skip the Bihari Gohst (lamb ).
Seafood lovers try the neer dosa which is dosa with mango chutney and a sea food mix - fish , mussels , scallops , shrimp and squid . They apparently have a fish thali for lunch from Monday to Friday.
Good food & nice presentation. Better menu than average. Recommend the Baingan Ka Salan (Eggplant in peanut sauce ) & the Kashmiri Mutsch (Kashmiri lamb koftas with this amazing beets & lotus side)
Very good food. It's good and the portion are good. The service is also very good. But very noise if you go there on the weekend for a romantic dinner . But it's New York.
Highly recommended for vegetarian meals . They also have a good collection non veg meals.
Everything you'd expect from an indian restaurant , but better, more diverse and with a great staff . Loved the bhindi, taash kebab (!) and kabuli. Skip the kesari kebab
Excellent Indian food and a ton of vegetarian options . Make reservations .
Some of the best and most authentic Indian food in the city . The lamb and naan are great but the fish curry is amazing if you want to try something different.
Went here on a Saturday after Christmas . The staff were so attentive and professional (and remained this way with a packed restaurant ). To top it off the food was delicious and so flavorful!
The vegetarian kofta thali and tandoori salmon thali were delicious. Very large portion so come hungry.
Best Indian food in the city (ok, at least Murray Hill ). You can tell the spices are freshly ground, and the curries aren't overcooked, like most places in the area. Pro move: thali at lunch .
The food is delicious. Great place for seafood lovers. Got the spicy calamari and salmon and it was really good! Portions are big!
The lunch is ????????????????????????????????get the chick peas . Delicious naan . Cheese a+
We are regulars and bring all of our friends here. The food is amazing and the service is top notch!
Naan and chicken tikka were delicious, but the fisherman's catch was underseasoned and the seafood felt rubbery. Perhpas it's better to stick with the chicken and veg dishes
Staff was EXCELLENT and kind. Garlic Naan is delicious. Had it with the shrimp masala . Spinach and lentil samosas were great.
The curries - incredibly flavorful! When it comes to wines - don't get the Indian Syrah : it's very thin and lacks in overall flavor.
The lamb shank and chicken Tika were delicious. And the prices were reasonable. So glad we discovered this place.
Great for a slightly different take on your typical Indian Restaurant menu. Kudos for the creativity without dumbing down the flavour
Delicious food! Try the chicken tikka & jaipuri kofta..very flavorful
Casual Indian with some upscale touches. The vegetarian starters make great snacks .
Good food, especially the tandoori salmon ! Definitely one of the better places in the area. Service was a bit disorganized, though, even though the place was mostly empty.
Great lunch spot for non-buffet indian food . They give you a bunch of small dishes that are all pretty tasty.
The Bihari Gohst (lamb on the bone) was great. Fantastic flavor, very tender.
Garlic naan , thali lunch special during the weekend!
The best Indian I had so far in NYC. I never had such a great Naan before
Yum lunch special vegetarian thali only $11!
Lunch menu was delicious, so full after my meal!
Try the okra thali even if you think you do not like okra . Top lunch specials in price and quality.
The samosa chaat is like a deconstructed samosa -- interesting
Butter chicken and chicken tikka along with the samosas and obviously need some naan !
Excellent food and service. Best I’ve had in a long time.
The thali lunch special is a lot of delicious food for very little money.
I loved the paneer tools to start and the sea bass for main
Good Indian food . Recommend Bombay fish , Chicken , Shrimp , Lamb .
The Chicken Marsala along with all the vegetarian dishes were all very good.
Casual place with good food and good service . I'd definitely come back.
The hari mirch chicken kabab is amazing..very spicy though, so be warned.
the jackfruit biryani and the bhindi are awesome!
Vegetarian thalis are amazing.
Garlic naan . Don't get the lamb - it was so tough - should be falling off the bone for that price
Great Indian! We ordered several dishes and all were wonderful!
Great value for lunch . Recommend highly.
The lunch tandoori platter was excellent.
The shrimp appetizer is so flavorful and perfectly cooked.
Really good Indian and reasonably priced
The meat dishes (especially Haryali chicken and lamb chops )
definitely try the tawa scallops !
Lamb haleem stew , Samduri Arisi (seafood paella biriyani )
High end-fancy-great tasting food w amazing service in NYC.Must try-lasooni gobi and nadru kofte. Pomegranate mai tai was refreshing. ABSOLUTELY divine- junoon spiced naan-worth the calorie overload:) - Rhea Datta
Love the chicken saag and dal that comes with it! A lot of food for under $10! - Julia
$10.95 lunch buffet is delicious and definitely more than worth the price. Naan, 2 kinds of rice, 3 veggie and 2 chicken options. Plus 5 chutneys! - Casey Schoonover
Stadium seating, friendly staff and away from the tourists. One of my fav theaters in the city! - Norman Ellis
Beautiful park, plenty of seating, really nice in the evenings. Shake shack always has a line, but it's worth the wait - Justin McKissick
Great atmosphere! Open, spacious and perfect for an after work drink. Not too crowded, which I appreciate. Pretty decent beer selection as well. - Laurie D.
