Highly recommend! The food is exquisite but the restaurant isn't stuffy. Highlights: black truffle gnocchi and trout with roasted wild mushrooms . The blonde chocolate cake was to die for. GO!!!!
Had the 5 course degustation menu w/wine pairing and was not dissappointed. Everything was delicious but the clear standout was the Halibut cheeks. Definitely give this place a try!
One of the best meals I’ve ever had in one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been in. Too bad the chef is a POS.

Order the crab gnocchi as a starter and the trout as your main! Don't skip out on dessert , the bread pudding is delicious!
Maybe best meal of my life. Ask the sommelier for wine pairings . 2 apps, 1 entree and dessert and that should really do you well . Ask for hot fois gras trio. It's better than cold one.

Chef John Besh’s contemporary French restaurant 's recent highlights included the pecan-smoked beef and Gulf snapper "courtbouillon" with shrimp , blue crab , and jasmine rice .
Best meal of my life. Best service (Robert!!!!) ever. Unforgettable evening cannot recommend highly enough. Will return to NOLA just to visit August.
We did our one “fancy dinner ” of the trip here and really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting vegetable dishes , amongst other things.
You can order a la carte off the prix fixe dinner menu . The octopus dish is tender and excellent.
Brunch - start with sweet potato muffins , potato gnocchi with blue crab and banana pudding for dessert
Fancy dining and great service. Most def the best Besh restaurant .
The tasting menu is Devine! The a la carte menu is just as good. Try the gnocchi or the short ribs ! The service is impeccable.
Ridiculous tasting menu , both seasonal and vegetarian . Service was impeccable. Worth every cent...and great cocktails on top of it all.
The Prix Fixe three-course John Besh menu with superb service today went up in price--one cent. It now costs $20.13. A wonderful bargain!
This place is expensive but will knock your socks off--totally worth it. This is my go-to spot for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions . Best restaurant in NOLA .
Amazing food all around. Extremely nice without being pretentious . Foodies wearing suits and jeans. The fish was the best. I don't know how he did it. Highly recommend.
Duck cooked well , amuse bouche egg starter was whatevs. Formal sit down.
Ask questions about the dishes to take delight in the vivid descriptions of ingredients and preparation. Even if you know what you want to order.
You have one night for fine dining in New Orleans? Run, don't walk to Restaurant August. This is the best restaurant in the city .
The duck was really well cooked. Save some room for dessert and get the orange creamsicle cheesecake .
Definitely pricy , but a great date spot with excellent food. I had the pork loin and it was awesome.
As with most places that are worth the wait, get a reservation , sit back, let the wine flow, and watch the hours float away. Did i mention the food?....
Still my favorite restaurant in NOLA . Turn of your cell, don't be in a rush and get ready for possibly the best 7 courses you've had in a long time!
Gnocchi was phenomenal, as was everything else we ordered. Great meal.
The menu is always changing, but this is one of the best places to trust the recommendation of the staff ! You will not be disappointed.
The weekday lunch prix fixe is the best deal in the city - get the Whispering Angel rosé to pair
Simply amazing food. Their 20.13 prix fix can't be beat. An amazing deal for the quality of food you get. wow
Great food but feels impersonal. The quality is great though and the flavours are definitely there!
Fantastic tasting menu . If you're look to splurge on a cajun/creole inspired treat, this is the place.
Traditional Louisiana cooking gets a little inspiration from a worldwise, James Beard award-winning chef at this restaurant . Try the oysters three ways for a tasty appetizer with Southern roots.
One of the most phenomenal meals I've ever had. Ask for Mark and Warren as your servers. You'll be well cared for!
It's celebrity chef John Besh's place, so skip the food, and head to the bar for Besh's bacon-infused bourbon . Enough said.
Top 3 meals ever. The gnocchi appetizer is a must and the banana pudding dessert .
