Wanton also good big piece stuffed with pork and prawn . Love it
For their smallest order $5, u get with your noodles 1 fishball, 1 meatball , a few slices of fishcake & pork , generous 'taugeh' (bean sprouts ). Soup 's tasty
On a Sunday morning, it took 30 mins from the time we joined the queue to place our orders, to collecting our bowls of noodles
Amazing meepok here. The noodle is very al dente , and the taste is so good.
Local delight, dry Meepok with chili oil really yummy. You can choose size S, M, L
My bowl came with chunky fries pork lard cubes. Sinful but yummy to bite into
Go for the dry noodles with chilli ! Waiting time can be up to 30-45 minutes on weekends...
Dry noodles are delicious, but expensive at $6 (for a Medium ). Plus, waiting time is crazy - go there with a full stomach.
Crowded at 9am on a Saturday morn ... they have meepok , Wu Xiang, desserts ...
One of the famous mee pok stalls in the same vicinity. Carrot cake is splendid here
Mee pok , French toast , nasi lemak , soft boiled eggs , Kopi O. ...a taste of Singapore!
Most of noodles dishes are excellent. Heavy use of lard though. Kopi O is superb.
Great ingredients and lovely textures. Winner
The standard of the noodles may be dropping here but the ice tea and ice ice coffee here is pretty good.
If u are very hungry, trick is to order the uber yummy Yong tau Fu as well . It's serves up 10 mins prior your Meepok order :)
Avoid Monday cause they have alternate monday off. The price has increased to S:$4.50, M:$5.50, L:$6.50 as at 28.05.14
The meepok is awesome but the downside is tat the waiting way too long (at least 20mins minimum). Do get munch while waiting.
Have to wait awhile (25-30 mins) for the noodle . Not bad 7/10. Small $4.50.
Food is good, but can’t say the same about the people that work there. The drink store fat aunty has an attitude problem. Best stay away from her.
The MEE POK here is one of the nicest mee pok I ever had. Worth waiting ! :)
First time trying... Not too bad..good noodle texture and spicy chilli..but not the best.
Two years ago, so much tomato sauce . Today, so much vinegar.
The mee pok was great. Try this out. Be prepared to wait for around 15min. Fortunately, you can order other food and you can munch while you wait.
Flavour-wise, dropping here. All I taste is tomato ketchup in the noodles .
One of the best Mee Pok in town
Teh peng is strong and unique here. Uncle shouting orders and singing at times is endearing too
Must try.... One of the best meepok stall. Expect long waiting time, but worth it
The lao fu lin niang tau fu is very good! This is the original guy who started fu lin at east coast road !
These days the taste is not consistent. Sometimes good, sometimes so so. For the price you paying $5 for a small portion, you expect more.
Both mee pok and young tou fu r very nice!
Yong Tau Foo is must-try! Much better than the infamous siglap stall!
Too salty for me. Soup is sweet. Ingredients very fresh. Overall is good.
Standard has dropped. The one at Ah Lim and the 'branch' stall opposite across the road are much better.
I feel their fishcake are too thinly sliced. Barely got any bite out of them????????
Decided to check this out seeing the big fanfare around it, but waiting times are too long!!!!
They keep increasing the noodle prices
Nice mee pok with fresh ingredients . Need to wait during peak hours.
For barley lovers: nice homemade barley here.
Throw some chilli padi into their soup .... shoik!!
I love it!!!!!
Am I the only one here who finds that the noodles are a little too oily?
Price increase. Small $3.80 Medium $4.80 Large $5.80
The Yong Tau foo is really delicious!!
Great, great otah.
Close on alternate Monday.... 19/8/13 is close!
For barley lovers; nice homemade barely here.
Awesome meepok ! Their coffee is a must try too!!
