Pleasantly surprised with the architecture tour . Fantastic views of the touristy lower manhattan, but gets super interesting as you circle the northern half. Saw parts of NYC I've never seen before
The New York Times highly recommends the architecture cruise from here. http://www.zerve.com/SailNYC/ArchTour http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/14/nyregion/an-architectural-cruise-around-manhattan.html
The Adirondack sail boat was an enjoyable ride, up the Hudson - great 4 hour journey!!! The crew were extremely friendly and very attentive, even with all the work they had to do throughout the trip.
Highly recommend the architecture tour around Manhattan. Beautiful boat, great lunch service and terrific AIA tour guide.
Rain or shine, you'll enjoy the views and the snacks with drinks -- complimentary or purchased.

When visiting the banks of the Hudson, bring a camera, a bottle of water and a portable chair. Take long shots of the banks of the river, take a few closeups of the river. Share often with friends. - Ellen J Harris
