The mac & cheese , chicken & waffles , and shrimp & grits were all superb. Quaint little spot, so I'd recommend making reservations ahead of time! :)

Brunch was amazing. Some of the best biscuits I have ever had and the chicken and waffles were delicious. It's also pretty and charming. Would definitely go back if I'm in the Charleston area again.

Great for brunch ! Be prepared to wait a bit but you won't be disappointed. Fried chicken and short rib sandwiches were delicious as was the blackened catfish . Biscuits to start! Friendly service too.

The fried pickled okra appetizer and entree of pan scallops with Ricotta dumpling , parmesan , charred cauliflower and fried collard were a stunning combination. Truly outstanding contemporary cooking!

Great homemade biscuits . Shrimp Etouffee omelet & Old Bay seasoned home fries rate. Cozy charming atmosphere- garden , porch or indoor seating all a win. Waffles & Fried chicken recommended

Our favorite dish in Charleston so far were the shrimp & grits here!The fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese fritters were good too. Skip the violet drink :P The bartender was really nice though!

The chicken and waffles are incredible and unique. Blueberry syrup makes the dish. Friendly staff , great atmosphere out on the patio .

We've been doing a food tour around Charleston and this place really does have the best shrimp & grits ! I tried it at other places and they were good...but not as good as here! They set the bar high.

Everything is good. Seriously, everything. I had the best cocktail of my life and I drink a lot. The bartender makes his own simple syrups , bitters , and uses unique spirits for his cocktails .

Every time I come to Charleston to visit my parents I have to make it here for at least one meal!!! Never had anything I didn't absolutely love here! Atmosphere is awesome and the service is fabulous!

Great southern food with awesome service. Go for the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and the Shrimp and Grits . Oh, and the fresh biscuits . And the Mac and Cheese . Definitely returning.

The chicken and waffles are superb. The Shrimp and Grits are sweet, but still excellent. The food and service were both excellent.

Gouda Mac & Cheese is really good to get started and Short Rib Ragu was the 2nd best Ragu my wife has ever had. Crispy Skin Snapper dish was to die for as well .

Everything here is pretty good. Especially the Pimento Cheese Fritters . I had the Fried Shrimp and my family members I was with Had the duck and Swordfish and they all enjoyed it.

Southern cuisine presented with fresh ingredients . Light on the butter and lard in service of lighter, natural flavors. Thought I'd dislike the unfamiliar twist, but it's hard to be fight delicious.

One of the best Bloody Marys I've ever had. The she-crab soup , biscuits and gravy , and barbecuban were all made with really fresh ingredients but were far too sugary.

The Pimento Cheese Fritters and the Alligator bites are delicious. The food is awesome especially the pulled BBQ sandwich .

Buttermilk Fried Chicken was by far the best I've ever had by far. Had it served with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese . The Biscuits were great too. So much food, So filling, So good.

Everything is delicious! Love: fried pimiento cheese balls, fried green tomatoes , alligator salad , fried chicken , plantain chicken , salmon , shrimp & grits and bread pudding .

Fritters and fried green tomatoes are a must! Scallops and salmon entrees are delicious. Risotto was incredible as well . 100% coming back here next time I'm in the state .

I was a bit nervous about ordering fried pork chops , but I was pleasantly surprised to find it only lightly fried. The Gouda Mac and cheese was delicious, but the collard greens were a bit overcooked.

The duck confit grilled cheese can be looked over for other offerings. The pulled pork sandwich has a great flavor with the signature South Carolina mustard zing. Service and atmosphere are superb.

I'm kinda a rib snob and the St. Louis style ribs are flipp'n awesome! Dry rubbed with just a touch of sauce. Fried green tomato aptz was really good but the she crab soup was disappointing.

Absolutely delicious. The duck was fantastic and wine can be reasonably priced. Walk-in sit outside, which is probably the best seating anyway.
