Although not strictly a vegan / vegetarian restaurant , you'll find vegetarian dishes equally highlighted on the menu as their meat counterparts. Order a veggie combo , tear off some injera and tuck in!
While there are better Ethiopian restaurants nearby / in SF (notably Moya), service was slow / hit-or-miss and the food was under-seasoned, Cafe Ethiopian will satisfy you if you are craving Ethiopian
Great lentils and doro tibs. Service is usually a bit slow but food worth the wait.
Try the Combo Platter - One of the better (best?) Ethiopian places I've been to in SF. Very tasty and super authentic flavors!
Super delicious food, great for groups . Try getting the combo plates :) sadly, they don't have Ethiopian coffee :/
Get the veggie combo , so good. Ask the waiter what's fresh.
PERFECT. One of the best restaurants in San Francisco in my opinion.
Bring a date and order two veggie combos to taste six delicious dishes. Finger food!! Fun.
Pretty solid Ethiopian and fast!
Portions are very small or the food was really good. Either ways, I was still hungry at the end.
Get the Lamb dish ! It's a bomb.
The Zigni/beef wat is amazing.
Go hungry! They feed you very well .
Try the Spinach , Tofu And Kantishara Tsebhi
Get the Hakim stout . It's the KING beer !
Try the Chicken , lamb , spinach and lentils with injera
