Make a ressie if ya can, we waited about 35 mins. The sushi deluxe is where it's at (or the omasake), but it came w/ a roll of your choice & 9 pieces of sushi including uni and roe . Affordable too!

I join those who recommend the Omakase . The fish is fresh and full of flavor. The regular Omakase is $45 and the mini is $24 (pictured below). The mini with an appetizer was sufficient as a meal.

Fresh, delicious and affordable sushi / omakase in Manhattan! (Don't expect a super unique selection of fish though) Perfect for dinner before a show at Lincoln Center. Reserve ahead of time.

Absolute go-to. Reasonable price with high-quality food. Yasaka never lets me down. This is the first restaurant that makes me realize how wonderfully delicious fresh avocado and eel can be.

A classy Japanese restaurant with simple yet decadent dishes, and amazing cuts of fish . A bit of a wait on weekends, but worth it. The toro tartare appetizer (pic) was fresh and bursting with flavor.

Simple, cheap(ish) sushi . Just the goods but fresh and flavorful. Enjoy some rolls with beer and wine (all they serve, incl. sake ) for a low key night out ???? ????

Unlike run of the mill sushi joints in the area This place is the real deal. The omakase was outstanding, and not just the quality of the fish but also the garnishes and sauce for each one.

Walk by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Wasn't disappointed at all! The ramen were delicious. Didn't try the sushi but you can tell the fish is delicious just by the look of it.

We got a lunch combo with a bland soba noodle soup (3/10) spicy salmon maki (6/10), california maki (7/10) & eel avocado maki (8/10) for $26. We went again but it wasn't as good the second time. 6/10

Incredibly fresh fish makes for delicious rolls , sushi and sashimi . Lovely selection of appetizers , too and good value lunch bento box meals. Best Japanese on the UWS by a mile.

Best omakase deal! $45 for 12 pieces of chefs choice and 1 roll . Do it right, sit at the sushi bar and enjoy quality fish ! And great sushi and tempura overall on the UWS.

Top quality sushi and other Japanese dishes , superior to everything on the Upper Westside until one pays twice the bill. And then on par with straight forward sushi at the well-known high-end places.

I love their sushi entree - $21 for 9 pieces and a roll ! The fish here is so fresh and delish, and the prices are so reasonable. One of my favorite sushi places in the city .

Sashimi deluxe comes with an oyster , fish cuts are very thick, and really good quality fish ! Definitely make a reservation for this place tho, there can be a wait

The $40 Chef 's Omakase is probably one of the best and tasty sushi deals I've encountered on the UWS. 12 pieces + 1 maki roll , prepared with much TLC. Each piece is amazing. Must. Try.

Brilliant lunch place. We had the omasake and the miso , both very good. The place opened at 12, and 12.15 it was full. Local gem.

This small sushi restaurant is located where Momiji Sushi used to be next to a restaurant called "My Most Favorite Food." You get good sushi at a good price here.

Sat at the bar which I prefer at sushi bars . Had the $45 Omakase and my wife had the $24 mini-Omakase. Fish was incredibly fresh. Subtle but effective presentation. Best sushi I have had on UWS.

Lunch specials are a good deal . The king salmon is delicious. Make reservations ..always busy.

Loved everything I had; seaweed salad , shrimp dumplings and the pork dumplings . Spicy tuna roll is always a favorite. But don't miss the vegetable tempura plate; DELICIOUS.

Fishes on the chirashi are tasty and generously cut. Omakase has lots of great fishes but presentation wasn't great. (Order for three got put in the same plate like a party platter)

The Agedashi tofu was cheap and delicious if you enjoy tofu .

My favorite sushi joint for take out and dine in in the uws. Homey , clean , and fresh. Be prepared for a long wait during dinner .
