Toy Story Midway Mania!

Coordinate with your teammate, because about 5 seconds into the game, each side of the screen will have a 2,000 point plate pop up into the air. Both sides hit theirs at the same time!

Tips: Keep the fox out of the henhouse, mice off the barn. Explode the lava and then the meteors. Shoot the two tandem plates at the same time. Fill up the spaceship before it respawns aliens. ;)

Go for the high score! Prepare a strategy and have good teamwork with your partner. Don't fire off rounds in the practice round, save your arm strength. Remember accuracy doesn't count, so go wild!

Possibly one of my favorite rides! A lot like the Astro Blaster ride but a little easier to shoot the targets and a little more fun. Hard to explain but a must do!

There will be a rocket ship filled with 8 aliens worth 100 points each. They will re-spawn shortly after you hit them. Work with your teammate and ring them all before the re-spawn.

This is so much fun! The 3D is like awesome and it's a fun competition between you and your friend/partner/whatever. Make sure you shoot the highest points and be accurate, trust me you'll win!

Best interactive game in either park but the frustration of the line & jerks holding spots ahead of you for the 8 people who went to ride California Screamin while you waited doesn't make it worth it.

Talk to Mr. Potato head and compliment him on his hat. If you have a hat on he will compliment you and he will take off his hat. You can also ask him to take his hat off and he'll do it!

I love this attraction but the wait can be really bad. Try to do during Early Magic Morning or right when the park opens, or don't even bother...no FastPass and the queue is kinda dull.

My favorite!!!! The 3D effects are awesome! Go at night or early morning so you don't die from the heat while in line ... They need a fast pass for this ride for sure but I bet they'll have one soon

Go early. It fills up quickly. We went as soon as it opened. It had a 10 min wait. By the time we got off the ride it had jumped to 40 minutes.

This one was a blast (literally). The 3D was great and so worth it. Line was long but so is the ride & we liked it better than the Disneyland Toy Story ride. Buzz also works the line while you wait.

It's like Astro Blasters except with a ball and string connected to what looks like a firehose. Fun, but will get you tired especially when you're tied

My favorite ride in the whole park ! Beat the line early in the morning and then come back again later when it slows down again.

This is the most entertainig ride in the park . The line is longest between 9 and 10 and again between 12:30 and 2... Avoid those times and have a blast!

Best ride at California adventure. Get to the park at 9:45 am and they will let u in early. At 10 am make a mad dash for toy story. It is the best way to do this ride & not have to wait hours in line

Worth wait. Pull cord fast and often to get highest score. Don't forget to take pic of score before exiting!

Awesome ride! We thought we were in the line for the roller coaster but got this ride instead. Had a smile on my face the whole time! Fun!

Best attraction in DCA. So much fun!

The key to making it through this long line (and a steady shooting hand) is to stop by Bayside Brews and grab a beer before you get in line .

A fun 3D target-blasting ride, but I think I prefer the old school laser tag feel of Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters in Disneyland.

It is very important to understand that in this game, your accuracy doesn't matter at all. Disregard the accuracy portion of the score screen, and shoot as fast as possible.

Very popular and the line gets long. Get the fastpass for "screamin" b4 getting in this ride! Save the time!

Amazing! If you like shooter theme park rides like MIB at universal or Buzz Lightyear at WDW

Fun target ride. Surprisingly addictive and causes competition amongst friends young and old.

The wait is worth it. A great 3D gaming/ride experience that is extremely fun.

I love how this ride is a skill based ride. You're not just sitting there, it is interactive.

Expert solo strategy: In between shooting the hens, there are two pigs above the hen house, each worth 100 points.

Such a fun ride for all ages! My boyfriend and I loved it!!

Stop to get a cup of beer before waiting in line . Cools you down while waiting in line in the stuffy room. You might even tolerate the annoying kids next to you with the neglecting parent.

Look for the hidden mickeys! One in the loading area - 3 circles on the wall. One in the cloud on the Woody drawing ;)

The ride is worth the wait. Grab a snack for the line , you'll have lots of time.

People say to go during the world of color show... They're totally right.. Make sure you go during or right after the last show

While going through the queue pay attention to the posters they will give you tips about the games to come.

Get here early! Line is super quick since everyone is either in CarsLand or in line for the fast pass for the Cars ride ;-)

On army level, go for the plates that shoot up, alien level, get all the guys down on the space ship and it takes off. Last level get the bats on top

If your wrists and fore arms are out of shape you'll get tired quick. So fun though!

So much fun! The score changes quickly, so watch out if you think you're winning

Long line but really fun and worth it! A lot of spinning so be prepared.

My daughter who is five years old loved it and wanted to do it over and over again.

Look for characters around the bottom and side edges that are worth a bunch of points and sometimes are the key to opening bonus points.

The line is always 40+ minutes long. If going to California Adventure first in the day, be sure to check out this ride early on :)

know the game's secrets! (get all of the aliens down for the spaceship to open up! requires teamwork...way too difficult to do on your own)

Best ride in the park ! Definitely try to get thereearly to not wait in line . However, we waited in line more than 4 times in the rain!

When standing in line you can watch the loop from California Screamin' sway after the coaster passes. Trippy.
