Space Mountain

A great ride for cooling off on a hot Cali day and the new theme is awesome! Get your fast pass early and often to enjoy it as much as possible before the fast passes run out for the day.

Updated for 'The Season of the Force'. Funky music replaced with Star Wars sounds, commentary and new projections on the walls! Feels faster if you get to sit upfront. Get a fast pass straight away!

Best ride in the park . Worth the wait, but it's better to get a fast pass and then ride it first thing so you can definitely go twice without a line ! I love riding in front.

No single rider here. Either you brave the sometimes fairly long standby line or grab a fastpass for later. Worth the wait but this ride almost never has a short wait .

Definitely FAST PASS this ride. The line is usually very long. It's totally dark, and I think that works against the enjoyment. It's still fun though.

Great overlay! The John Williams score adds a certain punch to the attraction , but I hope it returns to the original at some point (aka when Star Wars Land opens).

I love this ride!!!! It is one of my favorite rides in the park . It is worth standing in line , however I would recommend getting a fast pass for this ride. The line can get pretty long at times.

This is my favorite ride at Disneyland! But you might want to get a fast pass because the Line is usually long! :(

Classic Disney attraction that continues to stand the test of time! I would recommend using the Genie option on this ride since the line gets long. Don’t miss it!

Has changed since it was Space Mountain, it's now completely Star Wars branded and in my opinion not as much fun. The ride is about 80% almost total darkness with Admiral Akbar screaming in your face.

The best ride in Disney. Nothing beats a coaster in the dark with the stars all around. I could ride that over and over again.

Hyperspace Mountain is SO GOOD. Space Mountain is a classic, and the Star Wars overlay works super well !

SUCH a good ride! My friends and I absolutely loved it: just make sure to be ready for the picture at the end.

There's a limited amount of time to get in and out of the rockets, so make sure you know who you are sitting with before you get to the front of the line and be prepared to get in and sit down quickly

The ride is now "Star Wars " themed and has been retitled "HyperSpace Mountain ". I enjoyed the ride a lot but I had to wait over 2 hours in line while the ride broke multiple times.

The "Ghost Galaxy" theming for Halloween is awesome! The ride is extra dark and you really can't see what's coming!

It's a must ride! Unfortunately the past 2 times I went they were under construction . I believe the 1st time was for repairs and the 2nd for decorating for Halloween

I do wish they'd go back to it being called Space Mountain. The Star Wars aspect feels forced - still an excellent ride though!

The Star Wars stuff ruins this ride. The Star Wars music doesn’t fit the track . The old music would actually go along with the twists and turns.

Always run here first thing in the morning to get a fastpass , and then wait in line . You can ride, and your fastpass will usually be not too long afterwards.

The line was crazy and the wait time was true to what's posted. Totally worth it tho and I'm not a crazy star wars fan. Really fun!

Grab a fast pass, ride the ride at assigned time, then grab another fast pass on your way out. You will want to ride this one more than once!

If the Queue Cast Member is doing their job correctly then fast pass is the way to go, because they keep the line empty for you to enter first in!

Make it your first fastpass of the day. Go again later and check out all the ships flying around during the mission

Take advantage of the FastPass option to avoid waiting in long lines . But be sure to plan your day and get them early as they can run out during the busy seasons.

Great updated star wars theme. I would recommend getting fast passes as soon as you want in the park

Opened in 1977, this iconic attraction was built 15 feet below ground to make sure it would fit the existing scale of Disneyland park 's other structures , and took over a million man hours to complete.

So good. So, so good. A silly, but thrilling Star Wars adventure. Ride it!

Something that my friends/I like to do is provide our own soundtrack. We put on headphones & listen to Muse's Supermassive Black Hole instead. It's the perfect length and it's freakin' rad. Try it! =)

Ask to sit in the back. Like all roller coasters it feels a lot faster and much more exciting. P.S. if you're really tall the left side is safer. :)

Another must ride. Fast pass and the single riders line (enter through the exit) offer relief for long waits .

The ride is dark, so you don't know where you are going. If you go around Halloween the ride has some spooky ghosts .

Hands down, this is the best ride in Disneyland

If you are a Star Wars fan, the music score at the beginning before hitting lightspeed will give you goosebumps.

For Ghost Galaxy, sit on the very back on the left hand side of the car if you want a good scare. Most of the effects is on the left side.

I don't think that it is worth to get more than an hour in line for this ride. Make sure to get a fastpass !

The line goes by quick if you are with fun people. Even though it's outside there is somewhat of shade. It makes the AC in the building worth it even more! LOL

Had a 60 minute wait and worth every second! Ladies make sure to wear water proof mascara! It's so fast tears flow down your face! Feels like your flying among the stars. Simply amazingness!! 

best ride ever made. be sure to get a fastpass for after the fireworks !

They have a single rider line now (by exit / camera area)

minimum height requirement of 40" to ride Space Mountain, and for guests to transfer from wheelchair or Electric Convenience Vehicle "by themselves or with assistance by members of their party".

Enjoy the soundtrack. Michael Giachinno's (Alias, Mission Impossible 3, The Incredibles) music is choreographed to the ride and really enhances it!

Single Rider line is the way to go!!

Rode it today, it was pretty cool. More aesthetic then the original space mountain. Best ride in Disneyland.
