If you don't know what you're looking for, don't go here expecting help. For every 6 people, only 1 person has a clue. If you do visit this store, ask for Raj. He's the only one that gives a sh*t!

Oh man. Little sense of urgency. Be self-sufficient; getting assistance is like pulling teeth. Asked for an idle self-service station to be cleared so line could move -- rec'd some stellar side-eye.

Love/hate with this place. It has ~everything I need, but you need to be 100% self-sufficient to shop here. You will get no help - if you’re ok with that you’ll find what you need.

This is the greatest place to people watch on God's green earth.

Jessica....hunt her down & find this knowledgeable young lady. She uses a mix of real experience & store branding. Great customer service. Makes it worth the trip.

The attitudes in this place just make you want to take you money and put it somewhere else... These folks mostly suck if you need help finding or reaching items. ????

Had friendly , helpful service today and the past few times I've been in here. Big difference from a few years ago.

Always get the help I need, one of my faves. But it IS a smaller one- so smaller staff and less selection.

It gets points for existing and having wood but like the worst place. If you Uber make sure to text them to say you're at HD or they could end up in gated in the weird school turnaround

Still the worst Home Depot I’ve been to in all of the nation. Good for serendipity and adventure though. Just don’t think you’ll get it done.

Service usually sucks but the last couple of visits have been really good experiences. Customer service is getting better.

if you can, go to any other Home Depot on the planet.

The key cutting station looks DIY, but it's not; that's actually just because no one bothers to call anyone over to help you.

This should had been a Stop&Shop, worse home depot ever, never have sale items, what they do have are excuses awhole lot of them.. What a damn waste. How do I get the out my neighborhood ..

Best avoided if possible. There's a Lowes in Gowanus.

This branch is a lot more put together than it used to be. Much better experience ????

The staff is either warm or cold, never inbetween.

The employees are really friendly here.

I found the one person here that actually does their job and goes the extra mile and its not a sales associate.

Some employees here are incredibly friendly and helpful. But the other 80% are so angry, unhelpful, and spitefully bad at their jobs, I'll begin driving an extra 20 mins just to avoid this hell hole.

There's free coffee on a table by the exit : )

Store has really improved in past couple years. Fun place to be.

Staff mostly sucks. They ask if you need help but continue on with their conversations with each other. I had several keys made and every single one didn't fit in the door or couldn't work the lock.

This is the absolute worst Home Depot . They do not update the stock on the website with what is actually in the store.

Being snacks and water so you can survive the really long lines .

The servise is so much better now must have done a staff overhaul!

Worst Home Depot ever. Poor layout, horrible service and messy shelves. Go to the ones in Manhattan or Queens - it's around the same driving/transit time anyway. Or Lowe's in Red Hook. Way better stor

This is my least favorite store in the world. Everyone tries to run you over. I have a hatecrush on this place.

Bought an AC window unit from here and it didn't work. Had to return it the next day.

Was disappointed in the plant selection here. Other than that it's pretty decent.

It's Nostrand Ave in Brooklyn. Not 5th and Madison. Big difference ... Travel if it's that's serious!

Don't try to use the self checkout. 9/10 it'll make you want to drive the nails you're trying to buy into your eye.
