If the sun's out, you will see a TON of turtles sunning, especially near the lagoon (north side of the bay ). Don't bother snorkeling back there - the visibility is terrible - but bring a good camera !
Driftwood, picnic table , sea turtles and a great sunset view
Hike two beaches south for 3 acres of reef. Please leave it like you found it. Mahalo
Very quiet , very isolated. Not for the resort types. Hike in across the lava field .
Rocky, quiet and relaxing

Lots of opportunity for shade, amazing sand, gorgeous views. Rough road to get here, but worth the bumps. - Maui Hawaii
Beautiful, but the lava can be hard to hike over and the water is unusually frigid compared to other areas. Please give wildlife space! - Mark J.
We have been on most the beaches on the big island and this was our favorite. It's a perfect place for snorkeling and it's very private. Give it a try, you won't regret it! - Andreea Vilcan-Voaides
Amazing! White sand. Gorgeous water. And even though it is a popular spot, it's pretty big so it's not crowded. - Stephanie Marie
