Fall trees here now are absolutely incredible. Sidewalks, covered in beautiful autumn leaves. Weather, perfect. Breeze. Sunset . Baseball , soccer , handball, bocce : peaceful background whitenoise. Ahhh
Get a Kombucha drink or health snack at nearby Health&Harmony healthfood store(470 Hudson,up north 2blocks at Barrow)&drink it under under tall shady trees on one of many park benches there. Peaceful !

I've been staying next door to this park for three weeks and seen soccer and baseball of all standards from my apartment window. It's been a real joy!
If you play soccer here (like me), then bring flats or turf shoes , it's much too firm for molded cleats.
