Walked prior to opening, looks to be a great property for corporate travelers w/ a need for ample banquet space. Restaurant components will rock, a quality lodging addition to the financial district .
The best hotel by far. So refreshing to stay in a place that has friendly staff and clean rooms !
What a perfect hotel . Great balance of luxury and comfort in one place. Expensive but worth it if staying downtown.

Go to the spa and just hangout. It's relaxing and the service is great!!
Great perks for Marriott Platinum members, like the concierge lounge on the 12th floor. Also, the lobby smells great.
Do not valet your car here, unless you'd like to spend $60 on parking for 4 hours. Park at the Sears Tower garage just west of the hotel , a little cheaper.
Nice views from Executive lounge and close to a lot of good food!

The bathrobe is super cozy . I came thisclose to buying one for home.
Chefs Choice Snack Plate from room service . Yum!
Beautiful hotel , sapacious rooms, i want to live here. Staff was very very friendly . One critique - mini bar rates are some of the highest ive seen ($9 for m&ms!?!).
JW's arrival gives a nice vibe to Adams with the W Hotel across the street, although can bottleneck traffic if there are many cabs
The restaurant has a great happy hour !
Deep oversized bathtubs for relaxing.
Big rooms , great service and located in the heart of Chicago.

Make sure you visit the spa . Lay on one of the soapstone slabs and let your stress melt away.
A good place to stay at the loop
Surprised and disappointed to find out that there is no Free Internet in the rooms. Even for Marriott Elite members.
If you are willing to pay $500 to stay here you should be willing to pay the crazy prices here. Nothing is inexpensive here at all. But that's not why your here so enjoy it!
The valets are nice.
Heed my warning...don't take things out of the minibar if you don't plan on drinking them
