We always order the aburi salmon oshi and the spicy soba noodles . I love the aburi chirashi tart but it's a bit heavy so share if you want to leave room for other dishes. Fish and chips are good too!
A stunning room overlooking the water and mountains plus zingingly fresh sustainable sashimi and blowtorch-ed aburi sushi makes Miku a signature Vancouver experience. [Eater 38 Member]
I went there alone before heading to the airport . I chose the set menu , it was amazing! I really liked aburies. My dessert was tasting heavenly. Wish I could eat more!
Everything was spot on from the view to the food to the service. If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend Miku if you want an incredible sushi experience.
aburi oshi trio for everyone: salmon (kid fave), ebi (SO fave), mackerel (my fave), ebi fritters , and sunset roll . no room for dessert !
The best part about this restaurant is honestly the ambiance and the view . It's right on the water. The sushi is good but not marketed to a connoisseur. The prices are also great.
This is the best sushi , sashimi I have ever had in my life. And I've had quite some in jy life including the best place in HK. Now I will never taste sushi the same anymore, thanks for that! :) :(
Truly one of the best sushi experiences I ever had! amazing service and stellar food! their signature rolls are a must try!
So impressed! Everything we ordered was amazing! Wagyu Carpaccio , Alburi Salmon/Ebi Oshi Sushi , and Red Wave were super good! Best quality sushi ! The popular Green Tea Opera for dessert was so yummy!
Great place to get Aburi "flame seared" sushi . If you have not tried this style of sushi , this is a must. Miku was the pioneer of Aburi in Vancouver.
Probably the best Sushi that I've ever had. Try the Aburi-style dishes. Mackerel pressed Sushi and the Miku roll are spectacular.
LOVE THE ABURI SUSHI HERE! Get the aburi salmon oshi sushi and the green tea opera for dessert . Everything else comes second.
Get their signature salmon aburi oshi sushi with secret Miku sauce. Enjoy with the off-menu Kozaemon Sakura sake . Delicious!
Best sushi I've had outside of Japan. Service was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed the Hamachi carpaccio , sushi selection and mango lassi . Not to mention they had Asahi Black. Perfect dining experience
Miku roll is the best or just ask the waiter to recommend. They are so nice and polite! Don't miss out on the dessert either :)
Whoah, I loved the premium nigiri selection and the charring technique they used. Toro , kanapachi, and hamachi belly were my favs. The chocolate banana dome was my husband's favorite dessert ever...
An upscale restaurant with beautiful views of the harbour . The Aburi Salmon Oshi and the Ebi Fritter are must-trys. Other dishes are thoughtfully prepared as well . Authentic . Read more
The pressed sushi surpasses everything else on the menu. The seaweed salad and sake selection are amaze.
Green tea opera cake is possibly one of the best desserts I've ever had. Also try the bergamot sour.
The almond dessert was absolutely extraordinary. The venue is nice, staff are good and the cocktails are solid. We didn’t try the sushi . Don’t ask!
You can eat sushi with a view ! Quality sushi , although it's not the best. Aburi sushi is worth trying
Miku has up'ed the anti with their newest waterfront location. Enjoy the view while you dine on the amazing new Suzuki (actually better than the sablefish!), calamari , aburi oshii and rolls.
This is absolutely worth every single dollar you spend. Not the cheapest place but maybe the best I tried outside of Japan. Come for lunch and try the Zen set!
For a downtown sushi place in Vancouver with harbour views this place is honestly not too pricey . Great food but sit outside: inside is REALLY loud when busy.
One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to. Beef carpaccio and salmon sushi are must haves!!
Maybe the finest sushis I ever tasted... A must-go! Signature dish at 36$ for 10 pieces. It totally worths it.
The most delicious sushi called Aburi. Aburi is a special art of preparation featured by this restaurant , and you don't need any soya sauce or wasabi to make the food taste better.
Outstanding-everything! The best sushi and nigiri that I've had in my life. Try the Miku roll !
It's not authentic japanese food but sushi is very good and fresh. I love premium Aburi sushi set. Try wasabi chimichurri sauce for oysters !
Aburi salmon , red wave roll, and the Katana cocktail were all especially delicious! Excellent staff and service; courteous and considerate.
The toro tartar and the scallops were a delight.
Absolutely delicious sushi ! I specially recommended it if you want to try new sushi styles. Well worth the money.
Everything we ordered was very delicious. I loved the shrimp oishi and Miku sushi
Veggie rolls are surprisingly good. Cocktails not so much so I recommend sticking with wine or Japanese liquor
Enjoy a spectacular view while dining on the seafood rich menu, spiced up by the likes of brown butter wasabi prime rib and exotic rum and ginger beer cocktails . Read more
Great service, best red tuba sashimi , friendly people and very clean . Our server did a great job : Jennifer!
Excellent sushi . Pricey but worth it.
Had their house specialty , the salmon torched aburi. Definitely worth the stop here although the restaurant was packed and quite nosy
Great food, great ambiance, great service. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor and try the alburi style sushi . ????????
Definitely try the Miku Zen (for lunch ) and the salmon oshi! The aburi style of sushi is pretty unique.
Very good food and our waiter rocked. It was weird to see a host wrap us up. She was very arrogant and its horrible that part of my tip goes to her .
hamachi , unagi and maguro nigiri were excellent also the miku roll . great service and view
Delicious Japanese food - feels very authentic and very fresh sashimi .
Book Aburi Kaiseki tasting menu (72 hours advanced notice required) and you'll be glad you did.
Green te Opera is a must!! Everything was so good. I recommend 100%
When you get sick of the Aburi Salmon Oshi (which would be never), try the Aburi Ebi Oshi, it's just as delish, in it's own citrusy sweet way!
Aburi sushi is so good, the salmon especially but also unagi . Everything is fresh, beautiful, and delicious
Miku roll is an explosion of taste. A complex taste that will have you craving for more.
Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Get the red wave roll and the aburi sushi . You will not be disappointed.
All of the sushi was incredible, but my favorite thing turned out to be the pistachio-cherry ice cream dessert .
Loved the sushi à la carte, decently priced, fresh and creative. Happy hour on Thursdays from 3-6 consists of $10 for a pint of Asahi beer & a plate of gyozas. Cool and crisp ambiance for trendy crowd - Nina Nguyen
Deep fried corn and the tuna tataki was delicious. Also the ebi mayo. Yum - Jason Pickens
Try the oxtail ramen if they have it on special . Also try the short ribs - Shari Tsang
I LOVE intense/rich flavours. My staples flavours: black sesame and 99% chocolate noir! - Jenny S
Super cool steam clock!!! And the vibe and stores around the clock are very cool! - Billy Amp
