Quite odd old place. Aspiring to be 19th century, in places. But surprising space for so close to the beaten track

This shits all over the Sherlock next door, unique double pub over an alley, quality badger beers , better interiors, a real gem of london.

Well run by a friendly and efficient manager, this pub is one of my favourites! Come here for a quick drink whilst waiting for your train or for an afternoon or evening session, won’t be disappointed!

Cosy little hideaway a stone's throw from Trafalgar Square under the arches of Charing Cross but you'd never know it was there. Enjoyed the Badger Best Bitter.

The only pub in the UK where you have a street running through the middle. Get kicked out of one and cross the road ...

Do remember this pub operates 11:00 closing time even though you are on central London.

Loved the place. The beer is not so expensive either

Badgers , there are three: tangle foot , first call, twilight tawny - first is the strongest

always hold the railing going downstairs or you'll be haunted by the ghost of Major Graham

Nice girl in the bar but DON'T get the chicken salad if you are a bigger eater than a mouse .

Very busy pub especially on Fridays.

Good pub with decent drinks right under Charring Cross.

Go upstairs to the crow's nest in the smaller half, more likely to find a table.
