Mala soup is cheap n yums~~ vege $1 meat or others from $2! My favorite is small chilli w more vinegar! (≧∇≦)
If you're in the mood for spice, try this! Pick from a variety of fresh veggies , meat and tofu , have them stir fry in mala spices and have it with white rice and beer . Perfect for a cold day!
Ingredients priced at fixed prices for a portion. Value for money meal. If you like spicy hotpot , this is fried from scratch so you see all the garlic and dried chillies after you finish your stuff ????
Start ur “mala xiang guo" (stir-fried numbing spicy hot pot ) adventure by selecting items u enjoy or curious about. Tell cashier how spicy u want order to be, pay, collect at the other side & tuck in!
After selecting your ingredients, cashier will ask you how spicy & numbing you would like your order prepared. If u don’t take spicy but want to push your limit, medium should give you a workout
This is the collection side of the same stall . The absence of items to select, signage & a table should inform you to walk around to the other side to place your order ????
VERY reasonable pricing for 麻辣香锅! Veg for $1, meat from $2 to $3. The chili here brings out the taste of the ingredients instead of overpowering it ????
You choose what ingredients you want and in a few minutes they make you your custom hot pot . Nice and spicy !
Be careful which spice level you order. I love my dry pot with a lot of glass noodles , bamboo shot and lotus roots .
Clear pricing with supporting English description. Order from the front (facing shopping centre), pay and collect round the back (facing general dining tables)
After paying for your order, you will be issued with an ID number for your order. Collect from the back of the stall , which faces the dining hall
Lots of options, especially plant-based, displayed in cold storage for freshness
One of the more reasonably priced 麻辣香锅I've tried. However the 大辣is not as spicy as I had anticipated. Perhaps it's the rather fresh chilli they used instead of the dried ones.
Very popular mala hotpot in this food centre. There is another branch at the back inside the food centre with a number queue system. Alternative when the queue here gets oo long.
Very tasty mala hot pot ! You pick what goes inside, plenty of vegetarian options . (Notice: medium hot = very hot)
The best food I had in Singapore
Most popular mlxg in Singapore, would not say its the best i’ve tried but definitely one of the better ones.
Order at one side and collect at the other end. Very popular stall !
Must try lotus root ,tofu and fungus!
Price is reasonable and cheap . However, I find it's too salty & oily & SMG a lot. Maybe consider to ask for less for all. And the Aunty serving infront is quite rude... ????
Make sure u get a drink with milk to cool u off from the spicy hotpot
3 kinds of veg + 3 kinds of meat is $13. cheap n good but do ask for 小辣 if u cant take spicy food
Price is very reasonable, serving is big. Not spicy enough though.....
Ordered for mid-spic, still okay. Need queue to order and self service
Love the spices! Worth waiting!
Extra peanuts .
Good and cheap
Awesome mapu tofu
must be prepared to wait for your food
No so tasty
Max spiciness !!!
Bland , full of MSG. Don’t understand the hype and the crowd at this stall
Bad service and rude staff !!
Choose from 不辣, 小辣,中辣 to 大辣.
记得: 少油,少盐,小辣,加麻。。。。
First time trying 四川麻辣烫(si chuan ma la tang),hope I like it!
Everyone gets a standard bowl of yong tau foo soup with no option for noodles. Handmade ingredients are fresh while the soup is very tasty & sweet. A must try whenever you visit this hawker centre. - Jonathan Lim
Have been having the dumplings here at least once a month for 10 years now! ???? - tyn
Very good noodle texture. Must try the kangkong vege in fermented bean paste sauce. Goes very well with their sweet sauce. #ThomtoriEats - Ian Thomtori
The chicken stock is our favourite soup base. Really liked the black fungus, hand-pulled noodle, yam pieces, pig intestines and mushroom sauce. Also recommend the pig brains if you’re up for it! - Sara Kay
What a great place for hot pot. Service is really good. It's always crowded & you need to wait most of the time. But they serve you drinks & fruit while waiting. Ladies can even get your nail done :) - Cheryl Nguyen
Order their signature collagen and ginseng chicken broth. Tasted so good it's really nice. Get the fried bean curd too - Amanda Wong
Don't forget to go to chinatown night market. Low price, many choices for presents/gifts. - Christy Sucahyo
Almond Snow Ice is awesome! The warm cream of almond is nice and creamy too. Didn't disappoint. - Jessica Chak
