Mushroom Tofu Ramen : silky tofu , diced Japanese eggplant , shiitake & trumpet royal mushrooms , bamboo shoots , minced scallion , and sliced bok choy round out the toppings of this hearty, rustic ramen .
Miso Ramen (Hokkaido style hearty pork and miso flavored ramen , braised pork , corn , bean sprouts , naruto, seaweed )
The mushroom tofu ramen is so good, it comes in at number four on our list of top ramen in Chicago.
The noodles are the perfect texture here but this place doesn't hold a candle to Slurping Turtle , which has much more flavorful broths. It's OK in a pinch (or on a cold, rainy Saturday post shopping)
The Mushroom Tofu ramen is so delish with the hot pepper oil. You can ask for hot oil on any other dish too.
Get there early - 11:40 is best. The Miso and the Shoyu Ramen are truly Tokyo-good.
If you order the ramen togo, ask for no bag. Trust me if you use a bag half of the broth will end up spilling out.
Chicken Ramen !
Located on the 7th floor of Macy's, serving limited varieties of ramen and fried rice . Chef Yagihashi is well renowned
The Shoyu ramen and the Miso ramen .
If you're having the fried rice , make sure to add ginger and hot sauce to it.
Not very impressed. The ramen noodles are good texture, but the place is too pricey for what you get. Better than microwave ramen noodles , but I expected more for an $11 bowl of ramen .
try the Mushroom Tofu Ramen !
had the Chicken Ramen e/ side dish of Gyosa . Very disappointed! The place used to be authentic , but not today's meal. Broth very bland, gyosa served cool...I think Takashi has sold out :(((
(I) Eat more ramen ! (Miso )
Miso ramen is the way to go
Try the mushroom tofu ramen , it is simply amazing
Treat yourself to the Takashi combo.
Fried chicken was juicy but too salty, not as good as at Slurping Tutle
For food court ramen it's not that bad.
This place closes early :( It's 3:30 & I came from Indiana to eat here. BUMMER
Try the Miso Ramen
A noodle place that ran out of noodles . Wtf.

The best ramen I've had in Chicago. Go solo to avoid the wait. Half spice is great, if you're sensitive to spice get no spice and ask for the spice on the side. - Chase Turner
