Good, artisanal pratas are hard to come by. The dough is homemade and not the typical factory produce. The owner himself, flips the prata and makes the curry . These Pratas are definitely a MUST TRY!
My first time trying this! 1h of waiting as it was made fresh. Lives up to the tips and its name SUPER CRISPY . Strongly recommend the plain prata - the best I've had in SG. Egg prata was good too.
This locals only joint is must have on a jetlagged early morning. Well worth it to trek here to get fresh egg roti and murtabak . This place is super ace.
There is a long queue here so it's best to come at 6+am. The prata has body & is crispy & flaky inside. It is fresh, unlike at most prata places in Singapore. Cheese prata is also great.
The crispy prata lives up to its name. The gravy is more dahl-like, thick and not too salty. Waited 35min on a Saturday morning. More than 85% of the patrons in the coffee shop were eating the prata .
Cheese , egg , onion & mushroom Prata was the most fun you can have in a Prata without meat. It was generously stuffed & came crispy (before the moisture from the stuffings came out).
You need to order at the "counter" with Mrs. Morgan. She will write your order down on a sheet hanging next to her. The find a place, relax and wait for the heat pratha ever. Go for mutton pieces.
Mr Mohgan may have died (RIP), but Mrs Mohgan carries on his legacy. There is no drop in the standard here, an exemplar of flaky prata (vs the super crispy school of prata making)
For context on my tip earlier, the 1-h wait was on a Fri, at 9.30am. Mainly regulars who live nearby but many also drove down specially for it. You'll need patience for the queue and parking lots !
Think they have 3 types of curry . Mutton , fish and dhal. Let them know in advance upon your order. Crispy pratas without the hardness. Very nice.
Go early and there will be no queue. The plain pratas are the best, eaten with pieces of mutton
Plain (kosong) and egg are the best in my opinion ... crispy and even worth the 1 hour wait.
Lives up to the name. Homely, fresh, crispy prata ! Come early to avoid long queue.
Cheese one is nicer. Mushroom is just the button mushroom & taste very normal. It's very crispy but $1.8/pc for such small portion. No wonder others ordered 5/7pcs. We Q for an hour just for 2 pcs!????
This mom and pop stall serves fluffy yet crispy prata , which goes perfectly with their fragrant curry !
Go early to get a seat. Try the plain prata !
Coin Prata was good with a crispy exterior & a flaky yet rich texture, with a slight sweetness.
I'm usually an egg or cheese prata fan, but trust me, you don't want to miss out on the plain prata here.
Sells out very early. Crispy , fluffy yet not oily. Very nice prata .
The prata is pretty decent and comes with a dahl curry gravy . Will eat here again but now worth the 30+ min wait.
Closed on Wednesdays ????
Got to park at the roadside as there are no parking space
Crispy and cheap prata , try the kosong!
Years ago (the metal tray days) they used to give dhal too but that is long gone. They used to give a distinct curry too but now it's quite generic. Still good, but generic.
crispy prata . killer chili sauce mixed with fish curry . yum

Wanton mee also good
Prata very crispy !!! The chilli very nice too!
They've moved - quite close! The new location is at 300 Joo Chiat Road .
It’s a 45 min wait. Not exactly Super crispy . Taste wise... let’s just say the max I’ll wait is 15 mins
Its crispy n oily prata cos its fried with plenty of oil.
Note that Mr and Mrs Mohegan’s is closed on Wednesdays.
Pratasssss
Prata with fish curry and sambal
Roti Prata !!!
great pratas
Ask for the fish curry with your prata
Someone gian his prata
Roti Prata goes great with the sambal .
The food ain't that bad but space is quite limited.
The prata is not super crispy as the place suggests, a little disappointing. Egg prata is slightly nicer but plain prata is really just plain.
Yummy teochew porridge and they have a wide variety of dishes. Their fish and salted veg come recommended. - Elizabeth Lee
Love the chilli on the sambal stingray (not very spicy and you can taste the dry shrimps used). - Sen Chew Lua
The best prata in Singapore in my opinion. Not only is the prata good, the curries are full of distinct flavour. - Ngiap Heng Tan
Been coming here for years and always ordered the chicken masala, nasi briyani (best i've ever had), papadums, & mango lassi. Kinda expensive but worth it. Dont forget to order extra papadums! :-) - Katya S
Perfect plaster! The cheese is also damn good! Fish curry's a gem :) - Mike Ngin
The best quality coffee in Katong by some way - they nail the piccolo every time. Nice ambience and relaxed space. A new dynamic with the seating and it works. Setting a new coffee trend. I liked it! - Nick Hodgson
Love their baguette and croissant ! Croissant best eaten warm and baguette toasted. Starts to get crowded 15-20 min before opening ! - AManda HUang
